Critical analysis of a story does not mean how you feel and/or how you would have reacted in that given situation. It is about the character of the story what felt and how did react to the situation. Yes, you can pen out what you think would have been a smart move or someone would do in general, BUT don't forget to give your critical analysis that what made the character in the story to react that way?
As 'rima' has pointed out in her post, may be we can call Khushi desperate (not dumb) and sympathize at her for she found this as the only option for her! But, we don't know yet, how her action will proceed further? Due to this act, she will learn about Shyam's bad intentions and that what an evil serpent is Shyam (she knows it, but she'll learn more that Shyam can never change), and thus, it will be in favour of the situation in the story. So, wait and watch - try and enjoy the separation of the lead as still the time has not come yet for us to see them together and be happy😭
Rather than just judging someone's act (also apply into your real life), try and see beyond, and you will definitely see other person's reason for that act. Lets not just blame others but try and see their reasons and you will see, you will shine in every relationship, because you can react to them rightly that can help them to be better.
bottom line is - Get into the shoes of the characters before throwing blames their way...!
