TOI: Pawan's Bollywood debut

Pawan Shankar is an ecstatic man as he is all set for his Bollywood release 'Mr Bhatti on Chutti' which also marks in debut in the film industry.

Anupam Kher plays a pivotal role in the film and is joined by actors Shakti Kapoor and Bharavi Goswami. Anupam Kher as Mr Bhatti is a delusional bachelor who wins a trip to England and is under the impression that he has been called over by George W Bush for supposed peace talks.

Shankar plays an unemployed eligible bachelor called Prem who also happens to go on the same trip to England. On the trip he encounters Kher and the two fight for the attention of a British Woman: Alice.

Shankar who is currently seen on Sony TV's 'Kya Hua Tera Vaada' had a blast shooting with Anupam Kher, as told to sources. Set to release on 18th May, Shankar is currently pre-occupied with TV. He plays a simple married man in 'Kya Hua Tera Vaada' who gets involved in an extra marital affair with his college sweetheart Anushka.

For those of you unaware, Shankar is happily married to his childhood sweetheart in real life for the past ten years!
