My observations

An episode that did not go anywhere other than create more confusion and mayhem

1. Very understandable - Bani still dazed and shocked. Not a single word out of her mouth and very very succinctly displayed her turmoil. Kudos to Prachi Desai for emoting so well

2. Confused, crazy JW - Must get another man to analyze his character bcoz I dont think my hubby is the right person to do it - he said it in one sentence - the guy is a jerk. And i was told to stop watching this jerk and not to expose our son to JW's temper tantrums and outbursts. 😃

But if you see JW's character, he is shown to sway from one end to another. Just when u thought he was mellowing towards Bani - he would just heart wrenchingly hurt or insult her. Still cant figure out as to why the KS creative team is going ding-dong with his character. Further probing in JW's character

a. mistake 19th june - ok - got it - drugged wife otherwise would not have submitted to you and you too were sloshed - too many flutes of champagne for u. So did not think of the consequences.

b. Fine - then u were pretty much in your senses when you crooned a song during the sangeet. At the end of the episode he again confirmed the whole thing as being a 'natak' and that everyone was very happy for keeping up appearances.

And again the following morning, then changed his mind about his feelings for Bani and said he was going to examine them - when ????? (apne se juda hone ki feeling - huh ?????)

c. Most recent episode with the pregnancy being confirmed - most happy moment - how can u say to pia that it was a mistake - if the result of this mistake has fulfilled yr life-long dream.

d. I recollect in one of the earlier episodes Roshni telling Jigs - JW very alone and very insecure in love - cant figure out why - bcoz 2 floozies left u each in their own way had their agendas - Roshni to go to the States and Pia followed her heart. Shows u the depth of JW's character. On the other end he had Sonali's unconditional love and of course how did Bani's choice to die with you not make an impact at all. That shd have been a glaring signal to anyone ???? The guy seems to be severely MYOPIC. How human to base your behaviour on what u lost and not appreciate on what you have???

3. Comings to Jigs - how much money is enuf money. Yr Sanyasi son plans to remain celebate so why shld he inherit 1/2 of JW's wealth - there shld be no 'Moh' or 'Maya' here. Not sure what is going to be Sahil's take on this and with Rano being his wife - I dont think it is going to matter to them one way or the other.

Can someone be that wicked that u wld think bad about yr adored brother's unborn child. Does the thought of being in line for inheriting this much of wealth really makes u go haywire. After all she is a mother of three and her own daughter is in the same boat as her SIL. How can someone be this -ve.

Ashwini u r doing gr8 with your job - She must be getting out all her frustration and anger in her personal life and professional by bringing out all the bitterness in this role. Nice going Ashwini - tumhe bahut sukh aur shanti milegi after this kind of outbursts. This is getting too personal and on a lighter note- doesn't your voice get too hoarse after this kind of shouting.

4. Rano's concern very valid and sisterly concern. Extremely well portrayed by Arunima for the little time and dialogues given to her - the agitation and the sickening feeling for not knowing the whereabouts of your sister.

5. Coming to Pia - very well recd the agitated call from Rano. Calmed her down and further logically went to the hospital to find out her Dee's well being. Knowing Pia - understandably - her temper rising to boiling point - very valid. Being the most lippy among the three sisters - a very sound and well deserved thrashing to JW. It was high time someone gave him as good as he gave it to everyone. The proportion of what our man has dished out to these 3 sisters - this was paltry.

Another thing I have understood about Pia's character is that whatever she feels at that time - it is out off her mouth. The point is being reiterated again and again by the creative heads - Main Dee nahin hoon - mujhe apna mooh kholna aatha hai. Pia sees everything from her perspective whilst Bani takes the macro picture taking into acct all factors and players into consideration. I think Pia's behaviour is more akin to being human - that's what we all do when we react first based on our impressions, our opinions and assumptions b4 someone or something points out that things are not what they seem.

6. Ranveer : When are you going to use your head instead of listening to yr mom. Do u realize the magnitude of what yr mother said ? Agar apni saari umar poori Parmatma ke dhyan mein hi lagane ka uddeshya hai to phir itni jalan or eershya ka kya matlab hai. Sanyasiji pehle karo apne indriyon ko vash mein. Itna gussa achcha nahin and kissiki itni burayee mat chaho - akhir woh tumhe he dasne aayega

Siddharth - keep going - not much scope for you here, other than model 'the hermit collection' 😉

7.Raashi - Creative heads where are u going with her character - kahin iska character tapke to nahi doge. Hopefully she is not the disposable pawn who in the process of getting her husband on track becomes expendable. But at least she has her objectives clear in her head unlike someone. 😕

My only solace are the remaining 4 characters in the fray - Aditya, Dadi, Massi and Rano. Let me see unka kya haal hota hai in the forthcoming episodes. I keep thinking it cant get any lower than this and things will be on the up hence forth and I keep getting corrected by the creative heads at KS. So for once I will only voice all the scenarios - may be the most dire since it can go either way

1. u never know - Massi just might up and go and our munna might do precious nothing. From what is being developed with Massi's character over a period of lets say 3 months and more Massi might just end up declaring that Bani is ghar ki lakshmi nahi Mahalakshmi hai. And stand behind her like the proverbial rock of gibralter

2. Aditya who has always been the Rock - will continue to do so. He might try to reason out with JW - which will bring no results whatsoever. If anything be said from the past history - Munna Bani ko aur joron se Jakad kar rakhega.

3. Dadi's has risen to the occasion just once when Jigs sent Rano to the outhouse and brought her back to sleep along with her in her room. She has been the pillar of support to all the sisters. But I dont know how much her support is going to matter to someone like Bani who is in a stupor.

Just jotted down my thoughts and ramblings. Really looking forward to the next episode - I am sure it is going to be in the pits - but cant help myself. These days M-F, I most look forward to 12.30 p.m when MT puts up the most recent update. The update is read and read 2 times before making sure that I have not missed any detail or a line. Pathetic aren't I. My only consolation is that I have not yet resorted to comfort eating after watching all these tear-jerking episodes. The last thing I need is to push the weighing scales needle more to the right.

Anyway catch u all after today's update, until then have a gr8 moring to all those on those in this part of the Americas, a gr8 afternoon/evening to the Europe and a shubha ratra to all in the south east and far east. I guess that covered the entire globe
