Part 5:

"How did you know I was coming? And how did you recognize me?" Geet asked.

Both Adi and Meera looked at her shocked.

But they composed themselves before Geet could see the change in their expressions.

Adi smiled at her and said, "Geet tum bhi naa, itni choti si baat," while Meera looked at confused.

He continued, "First sit her and have breakfast and I will tell you."

Geet sat on the chair next to him, while Meera got up to serve Geet.

Geet looked at Adi to continue. He began, "Geet, actually your papaji called me. He was very worried about you coming here alone and remembered me when Gurmeet visited here. He was the one who tole me at what time you will be reaching here and by what means."

Geet just smiled and nodded her head in understanding. But was still puzzled about the fact that how did he recognized her.

Sensing her confusion, it was Meera who spoke now, "I am sure Bhaiya that now she must be thinking that how come you recognized her, kyun, am I right Geet?"

Geet looked confused, wanting her answers. Meera continued, "Geet you remember when Gurmeet bhai came here, actually when he came he showed us your picture and that is how he recognized you."

Geet looked satisfied with their answers, and they took a sigh of relief.

They started to have their breakfast. In between, Meera eyed Adi to ask something to Geet, to which he assured by his eyes.

He then looked towards Geet and asked, "Waise Geet, what is your new job all about. I mean where is your company located, how is your boss and things like that..."

Geet looked away from her plate and answered, "Adi bhaiya, I can call you bhaiya naa?" She asked looked down.

Adi put his hand on her head and said, "Is that even a question to ask. For me, you and Meera are the same, you can call me anything you want."

Geet smiled with a thin wet layer in her eyes. She then continued, "It is an MNC with its base in UK. I have not met my boss, but I have talked to him via phone. I will be meeting him in a few days. As for the profile of my job, I am not sure, but they said about handling their operations in India. They are establishing their office in Delhi. Their main office is in Mumbai, and they wanted someone who would be able to manage their operations here." She finished with taking a bite of paratha in her mouth.

Meera was curiously listening and then suddenly said, "But you are a fresher, yet they gave such a big responsibility to you?"

Geet looked at her and said, "Even I asked the same question to them, but they said they were looking for people like me and I would have a head who will be travelling between Mumbai and Delhi and supervising all the things."

Meera was about to ask another thing that was bothering her, but before she could, she felt a light kick on her leg. She immediately looked over Adi, asking him what with her eyebrows lifting up in confusion.

Adi looked at her with anger filled eyes, asking her to keep quiet. And she immediately understood that it had something to do with him.

Meera changed the subject and asked, "So when do you join?"

Geet answered, "Today itself. I am just waiting for the confirmation call from them to meet today."

Just as she finished speaking, they heard a mobile ring. It was Adi's. He looked at the number and immediately excused himself to take the call.

"Excuse me girls, I have to take this." He then moved towards him room and picked up the call.

"Yes. She is fine."

"She was asking questions, but I guess we gave satisfactory answers."

"She said she will be joining today itself."

"You don't have to worry. I will drop her myself."

And then the call ended.
