Content was presented in a very balanced manner. With examples, source of issue, why it got promoted, breaking popular fallacies, what's being done and what's not being done and how can it become a menace to those who are not promoting as well.

Happy to see so many other fellow indians braving out against the issue in their regions. And happy to know another Deputy Commissioner Kishan Kumar who has changed the face of Nawan Shahar.

Feel bad that the system is breaking the brave spirit of the two journalists who were bold enough to undertake the sting operation. Inspite of the PM, CM and President backing their operation, the red tape so easily rubbished the issue !

Loved DC Kishan Kumar's effective strategy of warning Doctors with licence cancellation if caught red-handed and also taking support from people and social welfare organizations and local people for fighting the malpractice practiced by doctors.

Evil is ever present. One cannot ask why some people are like that. But if we know that we should not support evil practices, then we are left to address those issues where promotion of evil happens. Doctors really make it so easy. First they should be taught. Cut the supply first and later we can think of changing the demand.

The episode on female Infanticide was really well shown👏.. by showing us all kinds of aspects.. in which this female infanticide rampant and kept live by doctors who do illegal sex determination plus abortion..😡 and society people who want male child only in their family..😡 and how females will now be sold in future🤢 n has started already in some villages in rajasthan..😡🤢.. n she made to bear kid,, n again re-sold😲🤢.. for there r lack of females available..!!!! ( all due to these kind of low mentality people only😡.. who wanted a male child only😡.. have ultimately lead sex ratio of males v/s females born in most of states.. even more skewed..)

^^^ I was in tears while listening to those horror's of those women.😭. who had to undergo abortion.. n had to literally fight for their right to give birth to their child..!!!

This song in today's episode.. 'O Ri Chiraiya" at very end.. brought tears to my eyes for the 2nd time..!😭

Satyamev Jayate : Amir's Song - O Ri Chiraiya 😊
A moving, haunting melody that brings out the pain of losing a girl child, music by Ram Sampath, written and sung by Swanand Kirkire.👏

I watched this with my family with no idea what to expect of it. Usually when you see something promoted so much, you're let down by the final product. But not this. Coming from a family of all girls, this was a huge eye-opener, the harsh reality. The programme was beautifully presented, and it showed everything in a sensitive manner. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. By the end, my whole family was in tears. My mum was thinking that if we had been in that society, that could've been us, and how we owe it to every woman out there to be successful and show all of these narrow-minded people what high esteem women should be held at.
I'll definitely be tuning in next week. Aamir Khan, I salute you!

Thank you all for your replies. 😳

After watching the first episode, I had tears in my eyes hearing those stories, yet at the same time there was anger, how can be people be so cruel? Whether it's a girl or boy, you should appreciate of what've you been given.

Also the interesting thing is, how the public thought it's the poorer/uneducated families who does this kinda of thing but ended up being the educated families.

Really loved the show. because I love at girls. Mother of two boys I craved for daughter but God never granted my wish. I am from a family with a brother and sister and we all have boys. Ask us what will we give to have a girl child.
Felt anger and despair at what I saw yesterday.

Most shocking was the sting operation and the doctor who was a WOMAN...

Great job Amir Khan
