My 5th update in last 7 days... Now I surely deserve a big round of applaud😳 Thank you thank you...😛 So here goes the update..
Wow Geet your library is huge... Shreya gaped at hunderds of books racks. I mean I also studied in one of India best college but even their library was this big.
Geet did'nt said anything just gave a small smile she had bigger issues to bother about like what Kiya said a few minutes ago. Gosh that girl was a pure pain in ass. She did'nt wanted to doubt Maan she could never but she was somehow not able to neglect what Kiya said she just did'nt wanted to take any chance.
Geet ST- Just once let me confirm that you are lying n then I will eat you alive.
She thought of asking Shreya then decided against it why to include someone else in their personal matter.
The sound of mobile ringtone broke her thoughts n she looked at Shreya who was now answering the call.
Ok got to go now.. dad is waiting. She said flipping her mobile close. Have to shop for engagement.
Shreya said n walked away thinking Maan's friends must be aware of their engagement but how would they knew when he himself was ignorant.
Like a thunderclap hit Geet so hard that she almost became numb. Shreya... She called from behind but Shreya was already gone.
OK if Shreya is getting engaged it does'nt mean she is getting engaged to Maan. Things were pretty conspicuous but she did'nt wanted to think in that direction. Believing Maan was not a choice but a need, life was on that turn where she could'nt even think of living without him. She had complete faith on him n herself n Kiya was lying for sure.
Whole day she tried to find Maan but was not able to track him she called him too but he was not picking up the phone. While going home Karan told her that principal has asked him to look after the editing work of annual college magazine so he was busy 1st wid princy then with some teachers.
Geet sighed n left for home. Something felt utterly wrong but she shrugged the feeling off. After talking to Maan everything will again fall into place. She assured herself.
At night her cell beeped n she picked it up in one ring.

He cut her in mid. Sorry jaan princy gave me this job that too before exam I am in tatal mess right now. He has given me 1 week for this whole editing shit but I wanna complete it in two days exam ka bhi prepare karna hai

She made a baby face he did'nt even let her say anything. Idiot. But why she so much worried anyway Kiya is bitch she knew that n only because Sheraya said that she had some shopping to do for some bloody engagement it does'nt meant that her Maan was getting engaged. Yep that seemed like a perfect explaination, still there was fear lurking inside her n she was restless.
Nothing could be done right now so she decided to do something n divert her mind. Study..?? Nah. TV...?? Nope. Novel..?? No. Grrr nothing seem to work she was'nt even able to play guitar. She did'nt had her dinner either n the restlessness was killing her.

Beeji nodded n left for preperation. Geet's eyes filled up not because of Daarji, she was sad for him but not that much as see had never seen him before but she was worried for her papaji he was an emotional man n relations meant everything for him. She knew he must have broken down completely. N then this engagement thing now she was all the more scared, the time was bad n she had that voice in her head saying the coming time was even worse.
Geet... Don't cry dear everything will be fine. Meera said unaware of her inner tumoil.

Meera kept studying while Geet fell asleep on Meera's bed after much tossing n turning.
Next day Maan did'nt came to college. Geet so much wanted to see him, talk to him, hug him, kiss him. She wanted to get rid of this fear n restlessness. She tried calling him but he was not picking up the call.
Shit. She said frustrated after trying for the 22nd time. Thank god he picked up after two more times.
Why were you not reponding n why the hell are you not in college. She shouted angrily, nothing was going according to her n it was irritating enough to fume her.
Woah woah... Geet calm down yaar. Was up all night with the magzine work. Right now at home n all literary club members are here just final touch ups are left it will all be done today but still there's a lot work.

Just one question. It wont eat up all his time. Why is he doing this? Is he ignoring me purposely? Why would he? He loves me. But he never said it. Gosh! Now I have started doubting him. She scolded her inwardly but everything was confusing n she was not getting her answers either. Doubts n suspicions were knocking her door from all sides. She wanted to think good n trust him but negative thoughts were not leaving her trail. She needed to see him right now n hence decided to go to KM. She wont distrub him just one answer n she will come back.
Till evening Maan's work was almost done so he decided to go n meet Geet, he had not seen her since 32 hours n was missing her badly. He. was coming out of KM, just then his phone started ringing.
Maan come fast, here is an emergency. Shreya said from other side of the line.

Shit man. Now he had to go to Shreya due to the so called emergency. He decided to meet Geet after coming back. He left KM n meanwhile Geet reached KM. Mr. Khurana was in the main hall reading some newpaper.

She reached Kiya's Mansion, whole place was shimmering with fancy decor.
She saw Kiya's mom. Aunty do you know where is Shreya or Maan?? Geet asked in a haste.
Shreya is out since morning for shopping n Maan i don't know bete.
Now what was she supposed to do. She cameout dejected. Geet... She turned behind n saw Kiya coming towards her.

Geet looked at the heartbreaking seen through the glass window. He looked happy putting the ring in Shreya's finger. Turning around she walked aimlessly towards the exit, defeated. Her hope, trust everything scattered into thousands of pieces to no repair. She closed her eyes, tears moved out n she eventually realised, Maan could betray her n when she said he was hers that was just an illusion.
