Sumitra and Genha have their husbands with them..so they are anyways 50% owner of their husband's share.

Legally Bahu's do not have any legal right over in law's property.They have right on husband's property it can be self earned or inherited.

Anandi has become like an adopted daughter and she has been deserted by her husband so dadisa is giving her share.

Gawari is a KEEP why should she get a share...if tomm jagya gets another girl will dadisa give share to her also.

I think Dadisa has done it this way so she get rid of the responsibility of giving shares in the property later on, she has done it all in one go so noone can argue for another share later on. Basically she doesn't want the fuss of people fighting over their share like Jagat had came to do.

I'm still confused how a share in the property works considering everyone is still alive and jagat wants his in money so will they have to sell something. I think Gauri will encourage Jagat to ask for more.
