but even if mandeep had not had that bgnd still what roshini did is appalling ya. she might be abused or may not be in right state of mind. but she is more cruel than mandeep that when she is seeing a wounded dying person she chose to sit on him to hit the person who is already in the low. the others I can understand they could not react and just stood watching.

@bold black. but there r mothers like Mandeep's that doesn't make her love any less for her child..does it? she too cried along with her son..

@brown...i agree with you..but since the show is dramatized..we dont really know how the father really was..😕

I can see your point here...you are saying that there are mothers like mandeep in this world who suffer silently with the hope that one day all will be fine...thats exactly my point how can there be mothers who will keep hoping and not protect their child from such harrassment. There is no doubt that she loved him dearly and cried along with him...but along with love comes the responsibility too...you have brought this child to the world and so should protect him too. Obviously not to forget, the main culprit is the father. But the bond that mothers share with the child is so deep...I can not exactly put it in words. As kavya said, it is the motherly instinct. If a mother does not have the courage to oppose her husband, she can always shield the child and face the brunt of her husband instead. And the act of throwing mandeep out of house after each showdown is very wrong...atleast she should have opposed this. I feel being thrown out of the house is an important factor in hurting the self respect of an individual. I am just saying that if she had been a bit stronger and not been silent, the things would not have taken an ugly turn and her son mandeep whom she loves would be still alive.

Well as you mentioned about dramatization, I wonder whether what Roshni did in the end did actually happen? Can someone in reality have so much hatred towards a bully when you know that person is dying. Or it was a dramatization...just to show the impact one will have if subjected to bullying.😕

About baby afreen, it is a shame that such things are happening in our society. She was being brutally beaten, abused and tortured by her father...so much that she suffered severe head injury...and she was just a three month old baby!!!!!! She succumbed to her injuries few weeks back. If her mom had shown some courage and notified the authorities earlier, she would have been still alive. And the fact that this didn't happen in any of the rural areas of India but in one of the metros shocked me the most.

I dont know when I saw the dad beat the son with a bat and she was standing there crying and making very lil attempt to stop made me think she is wrong.

@blue..how can u be so sure about that? - that is what I inferred from the episode, there is no proof, but in the no. of days they showed , he beat mandeep more than twice, and the younger son was sared so much already that he ran when he heard his dad's footsteps, and mandeep took blame on him only because he knew that man will show his anger on the little brother.
