Very well written kavya. Me too agree with your points.

1) I was discussing the same with my hubby. How can Pratik's dad be so irresponsible with a gun and real bullets. He is to be blamed for his son's actions.

2) Mandeep's mother never stood up for her son??? How can a mother be a silent spectator to such harassment? We know about wives subjected to domestic violence and some suffer silently, But how can a mother keep quiet when her own child is being traumatized...being beaten and thrown out of house seemed like a daily routine!!!!!!

3) What Roshni did appalled me the most? I mentioned about it in Shibz's thread too. I couldn't believe my eyes when they showed that. How can one do something like that is just beyond me??? I felt so sick in my stomach at that moment...

Very well written Kavya.
Now on to some points as perfectsoul said.
  1. What type of father was Prateek's dad? He was telling his son how to use a gun? That is very irresponsible.
  2. Mandeep's mother. What type of mother was she? There are some mothers who would kill their husbands if their husbands did anything to their children and then there is Mandeep's mother, who just stood and watched as Mandeep was abused.
  3. Roshni. Sweet girl. Or so I thought until what she did the end. That was appalling. I get that revenge makes a person go blind with anger, but this was beyond the limit. One moment she only wanted to scare Mandeep and the next...
  4. And finally, Mandeep. Like all of you I feel that Mandeep can't be blamed fully. He was angry and hurt and he took that out on his classmates. I would say almost 99% of bullies become bullies because of mental or physical abuse at home and Mandeep is part of those 99%.

It is not like u think...or it is not even that easy.. She was the sweet mother who cant be categorized to types.. she loved her son.. if the woman was Mandeep's mother then the Man was his father.. the cases where Mothers kill the husband is when or if the Man doesn't really earn anything for the family but only wastes money in drinking...comes home n beats up the wife n children.. in this case Mandeep's mother couldnt really do nothing..it was unfortunate... Mandeep had to be strong but he chose to get influenced by his Father's behavior.. if he thought what his father did was wrong then he shouldn't have chosen a wrong path either.. he was big enough to take care of his mother.. instead in the beginning we see he was rude to his mother also..

Coming to Roshani.. guyz we feel more disgusted coz we know the reason why Mandeep was so but his mates did not.. they were too young to even think that something must be going on with him... i know that is not the reason to murder your class/schoolmate heartlessly neither did they plan but at that moment their conscious betrayed them..

no shibz most mothers are fiercely defendent when it comes to kids. like a hawk they protect, it is motherly instinct. some mothers dont even like anyone raising their voices, not even the father on their kids. the kid is mothers flesh and blood there is this strong connection mentally and physically. I am surprised she could witness her kid being beaten, even if it is the earning member and the kid's father, it is no excuse for his brutality, and being a mute witness to that, puts her in the wrong as well. I agree a slap or a two & scoldings from the mother or the father, is ignored by the spouse. but seeing him beat with a bat and not doing anything, If I were her either I would pounce with the same anger on that father or shield the son. obiviously that dad has been doing it for years and for her to see it is unpardonable. The recent death of the baby afreen where the baby's father has been torturing the child and the mother knew but did nothing and the result the child was dead. The man may be strong that the woman could not have faced with equal mettle but resistance has to be offered. she was very meek.
