in ramayana, there is a description how sati saw ram and laxman roaming in the forest looking for sita and crying helplessly. she saw shivji doing pranam to ram. upon enquiry he tells her that ram is none but narayan himself. sati is doubtful that narayan would need to roam helplessly in a forest crying for his wife. she doesnt believe it, and wants to test ram. shivji is unhappy with sati and mentally distances himself from her. this is the first step of sati's mistakes, and the beginning of shivji's renunciation of sati. this is according to valmiki ramayana. shivji wil finally renounce sati mentally when she insists on going to her father's yagya despite all insults and despite daksh not inviting shivji. shivji knew that sati would be insulted there, and tries to stop her. but she doesnt listen. mahadev understands that the end of the sati avatar of adya shakti is near, and keeps quiet.
the tale about the 108 nilkamals relates to ram's invocation of goddess shakti, or rather adi shakti, and not to parvati in particular. parvati of course is a form of adi shakti, but ram invoked maa durga/maa shakti...😊
