Celebs on what makes them proud of being a Gujarati and their home town Gujarat!

1st may is an important day for Gujarat state in India, Formation of the western Indian State of Gujarat happened on this day! A big day for Gujarat as well as the Gujarati's! So we questioned some of our Gujarati telly celebs on how do they feel being a Gujarati and how they feel about Gujarat as a State!

JD Matheja - I feel very happy, Being a gujarati I feel Proud! And since it is Maharashtra as well as Gujarat day tomorrow this marks as the feeling of Very Proud! I feel proud to see gujarat grown so much over the years, it as as compatible to any developed state today! The trend which we saw over the years have reversed- the people there have adopted a modern lifestyle and there has been great improvement in living style! There is a progress in the growth of the country and I appreciate all the efforts of Narendra Modi in making Gujarat what it is today!

Deven Bhojani-I am proud being a gujarati! I appreciate the overall progress that has been done in the development of the gujarat! A major heartily thanks to Narendra Modi for the economic development of the state! Nowadays many states learn tactics from gujarat for the development of their state and that itself is a feeling of being Proud! And even where entertainment is concerned, gujarat has the major viewership all over india, which also concludes that a show runs succesful only through its viewership! Even now when you see shows which are mainly based on gujarati culture concludes gujurati traditions and customs are widely followed!

Dilip Joshi - I am very proud being a gujarati! Gujarat is a modern state all over india! Best in its infrastructure and lead in vast growth in development, it is to be looked forward by every other state on its growth, infact it is the one which is leading in the development and progress of the states!

Manasi Parekh- I feel very proud being a gujarati! Gujarat has offered a lot to the country with economy,literature and culture! I have a strong link with gujarat and I am very proud of the language too! I had planned to do something great this Gujarat day and shedding my part to Gujarat as being a Gujarati so I came up with a gujarati play which will be opening on this very Gujarat day!



Pooja Gor: I m very proud of the fact that I belong to gujarat and that too a gujarati family. I think it is one such state which has grown in all senses,n is rich in education, culture, food, textiles, science...everything...the people of gujarat are very welcoming, anyone from anypart of the world can easily adjust. N also gujaratis are very forward too, very broadminded. I think gujarati girls are the prettiest of all...(Very biased). It is one of the safest state, for girls/women in every way and i am very Proud of my state!

Drashti Dhami - I feel proud of being a gujarati! Though I stay in Maharashtra still I have a connection to my home town Gujarat! I love the people there, and especially proud of the rapid growth in the development of Gujarat, its no less than a Modern state now!
