This is my first post so please forgive me if I make a mistake.
I recently joined IF and ever since then what I see is more negativity than anything else. I agree the whole pregnancy thing is ridiculous and yeah recent episodes have more side tracks than SINAL. But that is no reason to give up on the show. I started watching the show because of the character Kunal Chopra played by Sameer Soni. Now I watch the show because of KC and SINAL (of course Sameer & Kirti). Who ever came up with the character of KC is true genius. Lately people are criticizing CVs a lot but I would like to appreciate them for what they've done right.
From very beginning KC & SINAL have been treated so well. Speaking from psychological perspective, KC's life is portrayed very well. What is even better is SINAL. How would two fundamentally similar people with different personality (few differences on how they behave but very similar on character wise) act toward each other. How both first experiences some roughness from each other was amazing. But due to circumstances both have to accommodate each other. When their willingness to do things for each other transforms from responsibility to care for other was amazing. How both fell for each other was done with right pace. Kunal's inability to understand Siddhi's love and guilt of Anand was also amazing. I remember people saying Kunal is such brilliant lawyer why doesn't he get it? Well given his character and experience with Richa makes him suspicious of love to start with. his own family was disappointed at him for 5 YEARS. We can't completly disregard that. He may have repressed insecurities related to such experiences, doesn't mean he has resolved them. Siddhi came and helped him resolved them. I loved how CVs handled their falling in love to divorce and eventually confession part. Psychologically Kunal was right thinking that SIddhi may not love him and what ever she does for him is because of her respect for family and love for Anand. That's why she married Kunal in first place. Only way Kunal would get over his guilt for loving Siddhi would be when Siddhi accepts his love and he doesn;t feel imposing anything on her. CVs did amazing job portraying that. So please give them the credit.
I agree last few episodes and tracks have been disappointing. But everyday can't be glory day. It is apparent form KC and SINAL characters that CVs know their job damn well. Then it makes you question how come they come up with such illogical thing. I don;t know may be that's the way to move the story ahead. Also not every single episode can be full of SINAL. Every once in a while side tracks and supporting characters have to be in focus. I agree initially it was male centric show and lately Kunal is not getting enough time. But again we must be patient. Kunal certainly has received second chance at his life. When thought of second chance, people focus more on professional life than personal. Well Kunal doesn't need to prove that he is great lawyer. There is no doubt about it. What Kunal needed was sense of identity. His failure in professional life did not make him loose his sense of identity. He suffered great lose in personal life. His family thoguth he gave up on life and pulled everyone back. Richa left him, and it was because of that he lost zest for life. What he needed was true love and acceptance as he is. Siddhi loves him as he is and truly accepts him. So that is much more important than winning big cases or making money.
I agree few things need to be taken care of to improve the quality of the show from last few episodes. But give time, things will come on right track. And please no talk about Sameer or Kirti leaving the show or show going down the drain. We may be passing by filler episodes. SINAL just confessed their love, the biggest thing so far. So we need time for next big thing. This is just cooling off.
I am not righting this to offend anybody. People are frustrated by some mistakes but CVs are professionals, so give them enough credit. Also as viewers we have right to voice our opinion and show concern. But please no talk about actors leaving or show going down the drain. I would love one show I watch to go on as long as possible. For that if I need to tolerate few inconsistency, I am willing to do so. So wish best for Parichay.
