We were in the dinner table with Mr.Rohan and his Family. His son Rajiv seemed quite older than Payal but that didn't matter if the person is nice but the way he was gawking at Payal it clearly showed that he haven't seen a girl before.
"Do you know how to cook?" Mrs Rohan asked Payal. Payal seemed in shock and so she didn't answerer and Pammi aunty answered for her
Pammi "yes yes she can cook really good food in fact she cooked these koftas. Why don't you try them. She is actually too shy that's why she is not saying anything."
I could clearly see the frown on Payals face and there was some kind of restlessness in her as if she was feeling uncomfortable. After the dinner Mrs Rohan said that Rajiv would like to talk to Payal in private which my mother in law agreed to. She gestured me to take them to the guest room.
On our way to guest room Payal said "Bhabi please do something, I really don't want to marry him." I squeezed her hand assuring her that I will do something. I was about to leave the room when I when Payal stoped me and gestured me through her eyes that I should stay there but I assured her that I was right outside and that she should not worry.
As I stood right outside, leaving the door slightly open but before I could hear anything I heard my mother in law cleared her throat. When I turned to look at her, she gritted her teeth and said: "Don't you have any other work to do other then spying on my daughter's personal affairs."
I without saying a word left from there for I knew that it was useless to argue with her.

As soon as bhabi left Rajiv started to ask me questions about what my interests were and all but I was unable to answer any of it. It was just impossible for me to even sit there the way he was looking at me and I knew what it was, it was lust pure lust. He tried to touch my hand and in order to avoid the touch I stood up in front of the window and started to stare outside expecting that if I won't answer him he will leave and will reject me.
Instead On not receiving an answer he stood up and violently turned me towards him. I was not expecting that reaction from him and it shocked me but my shock was short lived as pain took over me and I realized that his nails were digged in my skin causing it to bleed.
Not caring about it he asked: "Are you testing my patience women? Didn't you hear my question?" scared by his act I pushed him and ran away from there.
I came down and saw that everyone was looking at me and then at my back I didn't need to turn because I knew that it would be Rajiv.
Rajiv went to his mother and said something in her ear after which Mrs Rohan smiled and said "Its yes from our said. "Before I could say something my mom immediately said "its yes from our said also."
It took me a while to come out from the shock. I looked towards my father with some hope and he seemed to understand it and said "before taking any decision I will talk to my daughter and then inform you." Before my mother could protest he spoke again "and it's my final decision."

I have started to keep myself busy in work in order to keep my brain away from Geet's thoughts. Life just seems meaningless without her. The more I try to erase her memory the more my mind seems to engulf in her thoughts. Everything her reminds me of her. It pierced my heart even to think that she now belongs to someone else.
Before entering the aero plane I give one last glance to Delhi,India and head in to it. I have now decided that I will never come here because coming here will only remind me of her. I was now again drifted to the memory where I first time felt something different for her.

It was Geets 14th Birthday party. I was standing with my friends when she entered the hall. She always wear shalwar kameez but that day she wore short skirt which came just above her knees and I was unable to take my eyes off her for that was the first time I saw her in skirt. Her almond eyes, her pink lips, her dark brown hairs which were open make her look so beautiful. That was the first time I ever noticed these things in her.
My chains of thoughts were broken when one of my classmates said "wow she looks smoking hot." And that was when I realized that everyone in the hall was literally gawking at her not that able to take that I dragged her out of the hall and asked her "Geet what are you wearing?" Geet "Skirt Maan. Do I look trendy?" anger was raising up in me but I tried to suppress it and said "why are you wearing this? Wear are your other cloths?" Geet"I thought of wearing something different and so I wore skirt. Don't I look trendy?" She asked me innocently. I sighed and said softly "No you don't look trendy." I could feel that she was heartbroken and so I continued "You look really beautiful when you wear Indian outfit so go change." Geet "really you loke me in Indian outfit "Her eyes twinkle with happiness and she kissed my cheek I didn't know what was it about her that I didn't wanted to move my eyes from her and her kiss give me a burning sensation though she had kissed me before on my cheeks but it felt really different that day, for once I thought that I should take her lips in mine and taste them. I shuddered those thoughts and said in a really stern voice "Geet never do that again and now go and change."
I knew I hurt her but I just didn't want her in front of me because I couldn't trust myself. I thought I might do something which I would repent later.
My flight landed on the Sydney, Australia Airport and I know that from today my life will change forever. I was here for one reason and that was to take revenge.

I was trying my level best that somehow my would disagree for this proposal but my mother in law had sharp mind she started to brag about their wealth.
Pammi: "you know our daughter will be happy there after all the guy have everything a girl will need. He is handsome and rich and I am sure that guy will keep her happy."
Sukhvi: "but what about Payal, is she agree upon it?"
Pammi:"oh she will agree ,don't worry about her."
My father in law turned towards Dev and asked about his opinion.
Dev "I think that guy is great. You should go ahead with the proposal." I didn't know what to do now? I went to Payal's room.
Payal "I know Bhabi you tried and I think I can go ahead with the proposal. Just don't worry about me." Before I could say anything Dev came there and told me that doctor had called us urgently.
