Maan's dad was really happy that his son was going to get married n was getting such a nice person as a life partner. Now he was thinking how to reveal this fact to Maan. He wanted to do it in
a special way.
Maan... Mr.Khurana called him early morning.

Bete please take these gifts to Kiya's house. He directed towards the servents who were holding almost 20 boxes of jewellery.
Huh?? Gifts, for whom??

The engagement was near n it was to be held at Kiya's place. Preparations were going on in full swing. Maan reached Kiya's Mansion n was left wondering the reason for all the decorations.
Excuse me. He said to one man who was busy with the chandelier.
Yes. The man replyed, seeming extreamely busy.
What are these preperations for?? Maan asked confused.
For the engagement. The man said irritated. Who was this guy, everyone knew about the engagement, the man thought. Irony, he was the person getting engaged.
Engagement? But whose? Maan demanded. Why he did'nt knew anything.
Oh! So Maan don't about the engagement. Thats why I thought why are'nt there any fire crackers. Kiya thought, who was passing by.
Aaah... Maan you don't know its Shreya's engagement. Kiya intruded the conversation, signalling the other man to resume his work.
Shreya's engagement? I mean are you serious?? Maan said. When she got this big to get engaged?
Yep... Why would I lie? She asked as if she was born with a crown of truthfullness.
Well who is the lucky guy? He asked the next obvious question.
Umm... You don't know him. She decided not to tell him yet, its good to keep secrets. His dad is also a businessman n he is smart, intelligent, super rich n so on . She said counting on her fingers.
Where is Shreya then? I want to congratulate her. Now I know for whom these gifts are for.
Gone for walk. Oh there she is. Kiya said pointing towards the main door from where Shreya was coming.
Hi... Maan. Itni subah? Shreya asked surprised.
Dad asked me to give you these gifts.
Iski kya zazoorat thi? She said looking at the numerous boxes of jewels.
Ae zayada nautanki mat karo pata hai tumhare man me ladoo foot rahe hai. Maan said knowing her love for jewellery. Btw congo for the engagement, I heard your would be is really cool. Maan said playfully
hitting his shoulder with hers.
Shreya blushed profusely. Why was he teasing her that too in front of Kiya.
Maan you did'nt show me your college. Shreya said making a face, wanting despirately to change the subject.
Your wish my command ma'am. Maan bowed in front of her. Go get ready I will take you there.
It was a bad idea for Maan n Shreya to hang out together, it would increase the possibility for truth to come out. Kiya wanted to stop them but then who cares. Blast was bound to happen sooner or latter, hardly matter. Now only one person was left for Kiya manipulate, dear Geet.
Okay I'll be back in two miinutes. Shreya said n left for her room to get ready while Kiya also left for her to get ready, there was one step pending to make everything all the more fun.
Maan n Shreya reached college. Maan took Shreya to canteen n Armaan, Riddhima, Geet n Meera were also there.
Geet don't you have to study. Maan said fuming. Everytime you either found in canteen or common room, atleast attend some final classes.
Armaan n Riddhima muffled their laugh while Meera just rolled her eyes. It was nothing new everytime Maan used to scold her n everytime Geet made false promises like:
I will study from now on,
From today I will make time table for studies,
I am going to attend all classes till exams, or
From today I'll take study seriously n will borrow Meera's notes...
But once Maan left she was always back to her old ways.
Mai bas jaa hi rai thi. She said gaving a cheeky smile, wanting to melt his anger but it did'nt seemed to work so she changed to topic. Arre Shreya howz u here??
I wanted to see your college. Shreya answered.

Geet you...Maan started to say but Shreya interrupted in middle.
Aaa Maan jaldi se mujhe college dikhao coz I have to meet daddy in one hour.
Shreya winked at Geet n pulled Maan with her while Maan gave her a 'I will deal with you latter' look n left.
Who was that sexy? Armaan asked n Riddhima hit his shoulder.
She is Maan's friend from India. Geet informed.
Don't you think she is sticking to Maan more than required. Meera questioned.
Oh ho Meera, Maan is her only friend here obviously she would stick to him. Geet retorted.
Hmm... I am goin to attend next class see you guys later. Meera left.
We are also going Geet, have to issue some books from library. Riddhima said n left with Armaan.
Same time Kiya came n sat opposite to Geet. She was just waiting for a moment alone with her.
It would be difficult na, having a lover engaged to someone else. Kiya said with pity in her voice.
I don't have time for your silly riddles. Giving her a glare she started to leave.
Don't tell me you don't know. I am talking about Maan. Kiya came straight to the topic.
Look Kiya I don't wanna hear your bullshit.
Its no bullshit but pure truth, hard to digest but real. Its sad he did'nt tell you but on second thoughts why would he. How would he do double timing then? Btw in this double thing you seem the less important one because he getting engaged to Shreya while you 'are' I mean 'were' just a.. Kiya took dramatic gap. What do we say it, yah time pass.
When kiya was sure her task was complete she decided to leave n Geet just looked at her retreating form until she totally disappered. She was just left tongue tied. Kiya was just lying, she thought but why would she? She was evil but not fool to lie totally without having a reason for it. What if... No. Geet dreaded even thinking about something like this.
Remembering her first meeting with Shreya, then Shreya's strong bond with Maan's dad, her friendship with Maan, and a fear of loosing the one she loved more than herself was starting to originate.
Then she thought about her moment with Maan n like all fear was gone, she knew Maan was serious about her n he can never ever think about lying let alone ditching her. But Maan was too precious not to worry. The doubt n fear had just subsided a little n not vanished completely.
Hey Geet... She heard Maan's voice n turned to him. Actually principal is calling me for can you please show the rest of the college to Shreya.
Hmm... Geet replyed absently.
Sorry guys for not giving you happy happy updates but believe me it is much needed for the story n I had decided about it even before I had started writting... Have faith in me n I promise happy times will be back😃
