i went back and rechecked ...his expressions are bang on...but i have noticed it before too..when he was practising to say sorry in front of the mirror..or on numerous other occassions...the mirror distorts his image in a weird manner...his face...especially his mouth looks lop sided..giving us an illusion that he is smiling...its not Barun...its the mirror !

If u have noticed this carefully..barun's face (although one of the most loved and drooled over ) is not symmetrical..(meaning the features are not balanced on both sides of the face..very few ppl's are...actually the only actor who has a perfectly symmetrical face is Denzel Washinton)...plenty of extemely handsome men have the same characteristic...and believe me it adds to their rough charms.😉...we generally dont notice this coz of their head carriage ..but its evident more clearly in their mirror images

Could be editing problems, as I also felt that initially barun had a confused expression on his face. But towards the end of the scene he was back with a bang. He is so good portraying emotions that the first part of that scene should be the issue with editing/directing.
