Yes i think Mona went to Delhi just to get Anushka's mom. As she mentioned to her friend that there is one person who'll get affected after knowing that Anushka is staying with a married man. Who else it could be. There were only 2 characters shown related to Mona-her mom & a friend(whom Mona thought Anushka loves). Since he already knows that Anushka loves Pradeep who is already married & has 3 kids. Now the only person left is Anushka's mom.
