DS at Devgadh Palace
DS asks mantriji if all arrangements have been made. Mantriji tells DS the order of how cars will enter when greeting the people of Devgadh. DS then asks if Manyata has arrived and Mantriji says they should be arriving any moment. UV's car arrives then in front of them. UV opens door for M. M greets DS. DS says how was your journey? M says VERY VERY Good and laughs. M then says DS I wanted to ask you something, is doing all this necessary, why can't we go straight to the Mahal? DS says beta, Devgadh has some rituals and customs. You are not only a rajkumar, you are a Yuvrani, and if you don't do this, your people will be hurt, you are understanding this M, M nods. DS says beyond our people there is no one important. Then a red turban man greets DS (motorcycle man, he has that same scar on eye). He tells M I am here for your safety, for me my life is for you Yuvraani Saab. DS then tells M to come along. Red turban man looks at M.
M is beginning to get a taste of what rituals and customs mean from DS. It's just the beginning of what M will begin to learn in Devgadh. Oh God so now it seems as if Red Turban man is biker dude. GREAT. JN is AGAIN RIDICULOUS. UGH. And it looks like RT man is here to stay with his evil scar to help JN out to create problems in the riyasat. Maybe I should call him Scar Man? UGh stupid Jai.
Royal Procession
Royals are greeting their people. Red Turban man says once we stop over there, you will get up and greet your people, ok? M nods. Unnati, UV, and GR are awaiting Devgadh family. RT man looks at Jai and Jai looks at him, both nod and smile. RT stares at M's duppata that is on her head, and then pulls it along the handle so that when M stands up the dupatta will come off. VB laughs and says M Bhai, our star bhai, come on and get up and wave to everyone. J smiles. M begins to get up and realizes her dupatta is stuck, she is pulling but it won't come off. Everyone stares at M and wonders why isn't getting up. J then mocks at M saying you don't care about your people's feelings? M is still trying to get dupatta off. J says what kind of Rajkumaari are you, you can't get up and wave for them, are you just going to let them go home upset? VB tells her this is not the time to be scared, take a deep breath and get up quickly. Come on Come on, Go. J smirks. VB saying jaldi jaldi come on. Everyone is shocked as to why M is not getting up. M is still struggling with dupatta. The people of Devgadh start complaining, thinking this is Rajkumari Manyata, we have been waiting for hours for her, and she won't even get up. M then pulls off the dupatta from her head and then gets up. The crowd then shouts in shock at her behavior. Everyone is shocked to see her without a dupatta on her head. M says first of all to all you greetings. Crowd calms down. J's smirk starts to fall. M continues saying meeting you all feels as if I have finally gotten my long last family. From DS and my mom, I have heard a lot about Devgadh and it's people. I am feeling that sense of peace that you get when you are at home. You are all my elders, and all of you know that I am returning home after 16 years, so unknowingly and knowingly I will make mistakes, but children make mistakes in front of elders. SO this is why I hope that when I falter, that all of you, my Devgadh parivar give me support, that you will show me the right path. Because I am not only Devgadh's Yuvraani, I am also your daughter too and then folds hands to her people. The crowd responds positively, and claps for M. Crowd begins to chant Rajkumari M ki Jai. JN gets disturbed to hear that, and M smiles at her family, DS nods. UV then goes up to her car, (J gets jealous watching this) and opens the door and holds out his hand for her. M takes his hand and UV gets M a dupatta for her and puts dupatta on her head. UV says now you look good. J gets jealous seeing this. Everyone gets out of their car to go on stage to greet people of Devgadh.
STUPID JAI. AND all hail Yuvraani M for knowing how to handle a bad situation and making it all better! But seriously! Stupid Stupid Stupid JAI!!!! UGH THIS GIRL.🤢 Well you deserve to be Jealous JaiNandini, I am glad you were burning inside when UV helped M out and put a dupatta on her head (BTW loving how UV has scenes with M that replace the ones that were similar to the ones Monash had...ahem this dupatta scene in particular😉). Seriously this Jai...Anyway side note, loved Unnati's expression when clapping for M, so cute her support!
Mantriji says all of you be peace now, we will now weigh Yuvrani and then give out gold in her weight to Devgadh People. M tells Komal if I had known this was going to happen I would have eaten more before I left home. Ceremony starts, BG music plays while ritual occurs. Family then enters Devgadh palace. M is going and then Komal stops M and says not like this beta, and Komal does pooja for M's entry to palace. M has a flashback to when she was small and whole family was doing pooja. Little M sees ladoo and gets one to eat and Komal spots M eating ladoo during pooja and smiles and then tells M you can't eat this ladoo now until pooja is done, little M gets tilak from RP. M flashes back to reality and smiles. Komal then tells her come along now. M has another flashback where she asks DS to pick her up. All of a sudden a creepy old woman who seems to be one of the new villains creepily greets Yuvraani Sa ki jai ho, Greets her again! M looks very scared of her.
Devgadh palace looks beautiful, a lot more spacious than the Mahal, but can't shake off the scary feeling, perhaps because it's a new place, but still a lot of anticipation because a new place comes with new people...And not all new things/people are great.Again, M has two flashbacks for Devgadh!!! Awesome! I was having doubts that they would do flashbacks for M. Or at least this many flashbacks, it was nice to see these flashbacks, they were really sweet! Must say it's interesting how M's two flashbacks were with DS and Komal, and none with Brijraj. Maybe she will have one, and maybe she won't. But I must say the complete Urban Feel for Dekha Ek Khwab is slowly withering away guys and now its a new atmosphere, the Rural backdrop is a complete contrast to what we have seen before in DEK. It's all VERY different. And with these two new villains brought in by yours truly, the EVIL JN, perhaps we have more drama in store for us than we had considered in the long run. 😲
Pre-Cap: RT man says this is ThaiSa, from now on she will be your lady in waiting and always there be with you.JN smiles evily. ThaiSa says in agreement yes, I will never give you a chance to complain YuvraniSa. Also another promise I will be there with you at every step till the very end. Thaisa then looks at JN, JN smiles. ThaiSa smiles and says till the very END and cackles. M looks creeped out and worried at her, but then begins to smile.
This TaiSa is REALLY CREEPY! I am just going to refer to her as TS, but seriously this lady's cackles and heavy eyeliner and trademark black bindi or rather boundary line that is on her forehead 😆 is just creepy. M is creeped out by her, but M is naive so it looks like she is going to smile and brush off her instinctive fear to this lady's bad aura. Seriously, hate JN right now. I think I am getting hit again with why JN was so adamant about her coming back to Mumbai as the new Yuvrani of Devgadh. I thought how is JN going to accomplish that because I thought she was going to plan to do some stupid plots of hers, but as we saw her in the car giving money to Biker dude/RT man, and this little smirking of hers when TS says she will be there with M till the VERY END, I mean...This girl has completely gone mad with her obsession to have power and UV. DS's foreshadowing of this just got a whole deeper meaning. I hope everyone recalls that scene when UV congratulated DS for sending JN's pooch to Manyata as her teacher. DS said that a loyal and good wazir is needed to make sure there isn't backstabbing/betrayal in a riyasat against the Rani. Yup that little foreshadowing there just got taken another level called reality. EEKs!!! Well I hope VB is there for M, because she is going to need his ears and eyes to protect her because UV won't always be there, after all he is a Yuvraj, he has his own duties and responsibilities. And if all else fails, M I hope you start losing your naivety because you need to be a lot stronger to handle the drama and crap people are going to do against you. Be able to defend yourself YuvraniSa, do it fast because it's going to be an interesting ride.
