~Episode 76~

"Guru! Kahan chala gaya...ab main kahan dhoodhoo usse."

Geet restlessly searched for him everywhere in the house. Dadima sees her and comes to her.

"Geet, Guru Maan ke saath hai, uske kamre main."

Geet begins to leave when Dadima holds her hand and forces her to stop.

"Geet beta aap humse baat nahi karengi? Aap humse bhi naaraz hain?"

She turns and holds Dadima's hands, "Nahi Dadima, main aapse kabhi naaraz nahi ho sakti. Naaraz toh meri kismet hai, joh humesha mujhe khushiyaan de kar mujhse unhe cheen leti hai."

"Geet! Aap sacchayi se..."

"Dadima!" interrupts Maan before she could say anything else.

Guru was with him, happy and holding his hand.

"Guru, idhar aayiye, humein ab ghar jaana hai."

Guru says nothing and withdraws his hand from Maan's hand and walks to Geet.

Maan looks at him longingly and then at Geet.

"Geet, kuch der aur rukne do isse...main ..."

"Please Maan, waise bhi kaafi raat ho gayi hai...ab hum aur nahi ruk sakte."

Maan was angry, but controlled it because he didn't want to hurt his son's heart.

But, Dadima understood that if she didn't interfere then the silent movie between them will continue and nothing will happen in between them.

"Maan, Geet aur Guru ko hum akele nahi jaane denge. Raat bahut ho gayi hai, aur unka aekla jaana safe nahi hoga. Aap inn dono ko ghar tak chod aayiye."

"Dadima!" said Maaneet together in surprise.

"Kya hua aap dono humein aise kyoon ghoor rahe hain, humne keh diya na. Maan jayiye..."

Maan says nothing and walks out...

He takes out the car and waits...

Geet comes out with Guru. She sees him waiting for them. She ignored his eyes and slowly walked to the car.

Maan shakes his head looking annoyed and opens the door for her, but she would not move. Guru looked at her and then him, and wondered what was going on cuz he had no clue.

Now Maan was really angry and he pulled Guru from her hold and made him sit inside the car. The next thing that he did was hold Geet's hand and pull her towards him.

"Geet, kis baat ka itna gussa dikha rahi ho. Main tumse wapis aane ke liye nahi keh raha hoon..." she looks at him in shock, "Oh toh tum yahi soch rahi thi Ms Hoshiarpur," she again looked at him and said,

"Aapka dimag kharab ho gaya hai."

"Oh accha...really...waise sahi kaha tumne...tumhe dekh kart oh kisi bhi bhale aadmi ka dimag kharab ho jayega...Ms Hoshiarpur."

"Dekhiye mujhe Ms Hoshiarpur mat bulayiye..."

"Toh kya bulaoon," he holds her close, Geet begins to lose her heart, "MISHTY"

He tucks her hair gently behind her ears and she closes her eyes...

"Galat soch rahi ho tum Geet..." and he pushes her...and forces her to sit inside the car.

Geet looks at him in shock, but says nothing. Maan drove the car towards her home.

Scene 2:

"Maan uncle, kya aap mujhe gaadi chalana sikhayege?"

He looks at Geet who tried to stop Guru.

"Bilkul sikhaoonga aapko...parr aap gaadi seekh kar kya karenge?"

"Main apne Pappa ke paas jaoonga aur unhe humare paas lekar aa jaoonga."

"Gur, chup baitho," scolds Geet.

Maan ignores her and asks him again, "Kyun aapke Paapa aapke paas nahi hain?"

"Nahi...Mamma kehti hai woh bahut door hain aur humare paas nahi aa sakte."

"Accha aisa kehti hai Mamma...parr aapko pata hai hum toh aapke Pappa ko jaante hain, aur woh aapko bahut miss karte hain."

Geet is completely shocked and looks at him...

"Aap mere Pappa ko jaante hain?"

"Guru bass bahut ho gaya...aap yahan aayiye humare pass...so jayiye..."

"But Mamma mujhe Pappa ke baare main...aur..."

"Agar aap Mamma ki baat nahi manege toh Mamma sad ho jayengi...Aap Mamma ki baat nahi manege..."

"Hmmm..." and he comes and hugs her.

Maan looks at her in anger, as if he said how could you do this he's my son too?

Scene 3:

Anjali talked to her husband after putting Chillu to bed.

"Aapko lagta nahi ki Geet kuch chupa rahi hai...Mujhe lagta hai Maan Khurana aur woh ek doosre ko jaante hain."

"Anjali, agar aisa hota toh woh unse khul kar baat karti. She was not even looking at him."

"Issi liye toh itna ajeeb laga, I mean hum kisi se pehli baar milte hain toh unhe ignore nahi karte. But..."

"Joh bhi ho, ab sacchayi toh humein Geet hi bata sakti hai."

"Parr woh ab tak aayi kyun nahi, lagta hai bearish hone wali hai...aur toofan bhi. Main usse phone karke pata lagati hoon."

She tries calling Geet but it was not reachable...

There Geet too tried to contact them but in vain.

~⭐️Episode 77⭐️~

There was absolute silence in the car except for the faint music played by the stereo. Maan stared out straight at the road ahead and Geet out of the window. It had started raining and the wind also became wilder. She was scared but didn't want to talk to him. BSK was fast asleep in Mamma's lap.

A lightening struck and the thunder made Geet let out a squeak of fear. Maan instantly turned back and asked, "Geet tum theekh ho na,😲" there was concern in his eyes. And Geet wanted to cherish that moment with love in his eyes, for which she longed every day and every night, these three years. But, she had to control herself, her feelings.

"Main theekh hoon, aapko meri chinta karne ki koi zarroorat nahi hai."

Maan clenched his teeth and fist, and turned to the front.

"Mujhe bhi tumhari koi fikar nahi hai, I was worried for my son."

"Maan aapne Guru se apne baare main kuch bataya toh nahi hai na?"

"Kyun...main uska baap hoon. Tum mere bete ko mujhse alag nahi kar sakti. Thank God, woh meri tarah hai, samjhdaar, tumhari tarah bewakoof aur stubborn nahi."

"Main stubborn hoon, main...aur aap kya hain..."

"Please tum shuru mat ho jao. Waise bhi we are in the middle of nowhere and mere paas tumhari bak bak ke liye bilkul patience nahi hai..."

"Maan...aap bilkul nahi badle...Dusht Danav" she utters from the corner of her mouth.

"Kya kaha tumne...Dusht Danav...Oh main bhool gaya tha...tumhara dimag toh kabhi develop ho hi nahi sakta..."

"Haan haan...main pagal hoon, tabhi toh aapse itna pyaar karti hoon"

Suddenly there was silence and the two looked at each other...

Then Geet spoke slowly, trying to avoid his eyes, "Mera matlab tha...Maan purani baton ko bhoolne main hi hum dono ki bhalayi hai. Mere paas ab Guru ke sivay aur koi nahi hai...main nahi chahti aap usse bhi mujhse cheen le..."

"Bol diya...ab tum meri suno...Tum apne aap ko samajhti kya ho, dimag toh tumhare paas hain hi nahi...toh phir zyaada socha mat karo. Jab dekho apne mann ki karti ho, phir doosron ka dimag kha jati ho. Aditya mera bhi beta hai...tum uske bina nahi rah sakti, lekin kya tumne kabhi mere baare main socha hai, main kaise jee raha hoon..."

Suddenly the car halts with a jerk...

"Lagta hai, gaadi kharab ho gayi..."

Maan gets out in the rain to check the engine.

"Geet, humein yahin kahin rukna padega till the rain stops. Yahan abhi toh koi mechanic bhi nahi milega."

Geet looked worried, "Maan kya aap kisi ko phone karke bula nahi sakte..."

"Geet, agar phone kar sakta toh maine kar diya hota...this place is outside the city...tum yahin ruko,main aas paas dekh kar aata hoon, shayad koi mil jaaye..."

"Maan!" she holds his hand, and Maan stops, "Please humein chod kar mat jayiye, mujhe darr lag raha hai."

"Theekh hai...ek kaam karo, saamne ek shack hai, hum baarish ke rukne tak wahin intezaar karte hain."

Geet agrees...

Scene 2:

"Ab humari umar ho gayi hai, aur humare jaane ke baad Maan ka kaun khayal rakhega? Maan aur Geet ka rishta kitna ajeeb hai...ek doosre ke bina bhi nahi rah sakte aur ek doosre ke saath bhi kismet inhe rehne nahi deti...Kitni galatfahmiyaan aayi hai unn dono ke beech main, pata nahi Babaji kya chahte hain."

"Dadima, aap pareshaan mat hoyiye...Maan Sir aur Geet zyaada din ek doosre se door nahi reh payenge. Unn dono ko milna hi hoga..."

"Babaji kare aisa hi ho..."

Scene 3:

In Delhi

Vicky meets Dev in jail...

"Bhai, maine aapki zamanat ki poori tayyari kar li hai. Aap jald hi bahar honge."

"Parr...Maan...woh kabhi aisa nahi hone dega..."

"Aap uski fikar mat kijiye...he's in Mumbai...and he won't come to know."

"Ek baar mujhe bahar aa jaane do phir main uss Maan ko aisa sabak sikhaoonga ki woh zindagi bhar tadapta rahega, jaise main tadap raha hoon."

"Yes Bro, aisa hi hoga...Geet ke bina toh woh waise hi tadap raha hai...aur ab usne joh apke saath kiya uska bhi fal bhugatna padega."
