Shaima Alawadi was found in her own blood on March 21st. She was beaten to death. A letter was found near her head that read "Go back to your country, you terrorist." The family had been called "terrorists" before. When they found a letter
Shaima Alawadi was a 32-year old mother of five. She often times volunteered at her local mosque.
Through this event we aim to collect one million photographs of people in hijabs standing in solidarity with Muslim women who have been discriminated against due to their identities.
