There's no animosity with Gautham: Ram

Eight years after his debut in Tollywood, Chennai boy Ram says that he is glad that his plans to enter Kollywood have finally worked out. He will be debuting in the bilingual Yen Endraal Kaadhal Enben opposite Tamannaah.
Ram adds, "Right from my debut time, there have been so many films that have been planned, but they've not worked out for some reasons or the other. In fact, my first film was supposed with Balaji Shakthivel. This time, I was convinced by the script, which is a romantic entertainer. The added advantage that the film is being produced by my home banner made me confident to take the leap this time." Director Karunakaran is also eager to enter the Tamil film industry and Ram says that he was guaranteed that he'll have two films without any hassles as he's producing them himself. Ask him why he walked out of the Telugu version of Gautham Menon's Neethane En Ponvasantham goes, the actor says, "When I first signed the film, it was just a single film. It then turned out to be a trilingual. They were being shot at the same time and led to date issues due to the delay. I couldn't allocate dates due to my prior commitments. But, there's no animosity between Gautham and me. In fact, he's even offered me a film in his production house recently."
