What I liked and the contrary - April 23rd.

I was expecting an OTT shrieking saga, thankfully Siddhi did not meet my expectations😆.Infact I think she pulled it off pretty well.Her dialogues were also simple but to the point.I liked the fact that she talked about the consummation night , what it meant to her and how degrading it would have been for her when he asked her for a divorce next day.Ever since he mentioned divorce I have been wanting Siddhi to pop this question.And she cleared the air on Anand too.It was good she explained that she did indeed learn to love from Anand but learnt about sustaining love with Kunal.Having said that , what did she mean when she said from day one of their marriage she had decided to move on ? Did not like this for two reasons , first it a lie 😡second so she loves Kunal because he is her husband,not becuase he is Mr Kunal Chopra 😡?
Awww I felt really sorry for her when she says I gave myself a second chance and you took my last chance away from me😭.Her body language when she relates to him all what she did to sustain their relationship was well done, the way she starts counting😆.She looked really innocent and vulnerable.I must say I appreciate Keerti for pulling it off without going overboard and keeping it simple, well it did add to her advantage that she looked way too cute in her punjabi suit and chotti!!That makes me wonder what did it for her her acting skills or cute looks?😕 She did emote pretty well, they should use less glycerine though.
Finally the managalsutra fullfilled the purpose of its reappearance, need I talk about its magical properties? Well the scene was an attempt at symbolism but somehow I feel it wuld have gone pretty well without it.But yea I feel Siddhi did deliver it well.Kunal did say his part well, though I did not understand why he went for a second 'I ( 1 missisipi , 2 misissipi) LOVE ( 1 misissipi) YOU', really not needed😡.Well he simply stated that he cannot live without her.Again was not too impressed with the mangalsutra.But since she did pull it off, he had to tie it back.By the way I liked the FB's he gets of their marriage when she pulls it off😊.
Now to my biggest complaint , why the fire? Just for that mangalsutra off and on again sequence? Because it did not honestly add on to their acceptance, fire or not Kunal would have said it.

Its really pathetic that fire, bullets are randomly added to the plots just to increase the drama quotient😡.Plots that can very well sustain themselves without them.Fine they added it , did they do justice, no it looked like the fire was also waiting for them to declare their love.The place was a hay loft the roof would have ideally caved in a long time back.The whole effect was , there is SINAL conversation going on and a fire raging both completely disconnected with each other.It honestly looked like the fire was an eavesdropper, well it did keep evading SINAL like it was scared of being caught😆.
And the BG score, this score is when you have OTT situations, pallus that a six yards long trailing , long running sequences, when names are called out either like owl screeches.Why do you do a half baked job ? No appraisal cycles Ekta campers😕?
What I liked was they stayed true to the characters, Siddhi was as usual lecturing and Kunal for me has always been a 'One Shot Murugan ( well the new promo does certainly support my theory😆), he always reacts like this, Siddhi cries he will hug her and silence her.Otherwise he screams something and takes to his heels.The only time the guy offered a decently long enough explanation was under the influence of bhang😕.

I was so glad when Siddhi walked out, really did not want to see SINAL wash their dirty linen in public, joint family or not, close knit or not somethings have to remain private.But I did get a bit miffed at Kunal when he kept quiet all the while , Kapil was questioning everyone Raj, Seema but he kept mum but what he did next made me laugh😆.He sneaked away like a school boy who being admonished in the staff room takes to his feet the minute the teacher turns his back to him😆.

Yes i too would have preferred saying something to kapil, but then his mind was in the direction siddhi has ran out crying, he was more bothered where she was. i could connect with kapil's pain too
I always knew this moment had to come for Kunal to express his love, this moment where everything else ceases to exist and only she and his feelings for her exist😳.This guy seriously has a 'one-track' mind😕.

For the first time when Kunal said 'ayee' I wanted to slap him😡 and I was glad to see Siddhi mirror it, well to a certain extent she did not slap him after all.He deserved the slap for keeping quiet for so long , there is huge mess out there and he says 'ayeee'.Well it did provide the necessary trigger for Siddhi's outburst.

personally speaking i loved the entire confession scene(, bec for me it was simple and true to sinal's characters (yes the fire could have been avoided, that was rather dramatic but then i think it was symbolic, fire doing the work of the marriage agni?

Keerti was outstanding, loved her dialogues and her outburst was much needed. glad she didnt say she doesnt love anand anymore, bec that would have been a lie. she has loved anand alot and the hddcs dialogue of pyar sikya and then pyar ni bbhya in reference to anand and kunal was nice i have always believed that not everyone falls out of love from they past lover, at times you move on, find your soulmate and fall in love again, but the the man who introduces you to the concept of love will always shave a special place in her heart. siddhi's love book is incomplete without both anand and kunal. she has loved both brothers in her own way. kunal's past is different, its not something he cant boost about, but siddhi can and i am happy she pointed out to kunal that he is disappointed that his wife was his brother's love. kunal expression to me looked as though he understood what she meant. good use of fb's

good she spoke reg the c night, yes i would have exepected a better expression on kunal's face bec all this time he was thinkings he regretted it,

okay coming to the dialogue of how she after marriage convinced her that she will slowly accept kunal and love him , but if we see isnt that what we saw. yes next day after marriage seema reminded her that she is married to kunal etc, but from there onwards we saw siddhi doing things for kunal and falling for him slowly, it wasnt just plain duty wasnt it.

maybe this dialogue could have been extended a little and siddhi could have added pata kab kaise mujhse aap se pyar hogya kunal.

siddhi taking off mangalsulstra was nice. haha. liked kunal's expressions there.

kunal's dialogues to siddhi were less compared to what siddhi said to kunal, but they were meaningful, tell her he loves her, telling her he never knew someone would change his life this way and siddhi did that, saying eh cant live without her for even a day. loved it. forehead kiss was a surprise, first time after the cnight we saw him do that i think?

sinal seemed to have a mini remarraige in the fire, with him putting the mangalsutra back on her

i found it symbolic. the hug was short but then with the fire going on, if they would have extended the scene a little longer, it would have looked weird. again nice use of fb from they marriage.

i hope in coming episodes with sinal giving they marriage another chance, we get to see moire exchange of dialogues amongst them in regards to they feelings for one another. that will be realistic.

Seriously what's with the hugs? Now that's wahat I call 'an OTT' performance.More than depicting his concern for Siddhi , it did honestly look like his years of celibacy(well excusing the C-nite) was taking advantage of the situation😆.And Sameer acted as if he had just saved her from WTC had this been 11/09/2009( No intentions in hurting any sentiments).

kapil agreed to soon i know, but i guess he was once again thankful to kunal for saving siddhi, and the fire incident calmed his anger down

liked what kunal said, no melodrama and he put across his point that siddhi and him arent divorcing. all happy
