A truth in most parts of the world
A man cheats on his wife, he gets a second chance.Actually he get's two great choices to make - try his hand at reforming and live a better life with wife letting things go OR divorce his wife and live a scot free life with his new playmate (sorry for being harsh)

A woman cheats on her husband - TO HELL WITH HER. Subject her to pain, misery, tie her down, unleash the sorrows on her, snatch away her children, stone her..

What is this world we live in? Why?

I wouldn't judge them too fast. Easy to sit on a full stomach and lecture those societies but hard to live their ground realities.

Btw, no society is perfect. Even the best of western societies have issues when it comes to gender equity and taking care of the weakest members of its society, the scale and extent differs, thats all.

I am not judging them, I know the difficulties those women must be facing, it's painful for a woman to go through abortions because the baby becomes the part of her.

I might not know because as I said I come from a society where the women do not face this much problems. There are few cases but rare in my society for women to be abused or not given the rights to live.

Even in the west the domestic violence is still happening among other races.

100% agreed! She did nothing wrong by hiding the truth! She just wanted to do what Arnav intially did, protect his Di. She is so not guilty of anything!

Killing a female fetus is immoral and is against God's system.

I tried to watch that movie. I couldn't sit through it. It was so disturbing. BTW, you read my mind..I was about to mention that movie too.

You know what - it depressed me for days together, i tried sleeping it off but these thoughts wouldn't wipe off. But ofcourse people who are oblivious to the truth need to have a go at it. They can't remain in their comfort shells all their life while others are out there facing the worst.

i take a beating when it comes to such sensitive things M.

Anything that is given independence or freedom it is just not good enough because it is not considered rightfuIIy their's

OK. Shouldn't the onus of moral responsibility be divided between the father and mother? Also, I highly doubt a woman who is killing her own child is deriving any particular pleasure out of it. Often these women have no say in the matter. It's not like somebody requests them to abort the female fetus please. It's more like, it's either the baby, or you and the baby both. Even if she does so willingly..the societal mores that are ingrained within the system are to blame more than she is, as an individual. All I am saying is that these are complex issues. There is no easy answer. Please don't be so hasty to pass jugement on something you obviously know very little of, since as you said, you come from a society where these problems don't exist. When the questions are hard, the answers are harder.

In the society I come from men and women have the same freedom.

The only reason freedom for women arises is because the women are repressed men can do anything they want.

@bold I did not get what you mean.

Now I am very curious of your society, do share more about it. Which part of the world is this?

That's what I said no women will find pleasure killing her un born child the society is such. Yes they are complex issues. No matter how much we argue what is right and what is wrong we can not change but if we can play a part.

The fact is we have to live in such a world that all of these things happen and we learn not to go to that path.
