Perizaad Zorabian was very excited about her lesbian role in her forthcoming Indo-US film, titled WHEN KIRAN MET KAREN, but the excitement seems to have faded away. She has chosen to opt out of the film owing to her personal inhibitions. "I did what is right for the film. It would have been unfair to the script, character as well as the director to have an actor play Kiran half-heartedly. Besides Kiran is a fantastic role for any actor who has the courage to think with an open mind", she was quoted by a news agency.

Well it takes a lot to admit something like that. Incidentally we have seen such films in the past like GIRLFRIEND and FIRE.
