Is Rani causing trouble in paradise?

Reports are doing the rounds that director Aditya Chopra has filed for divorce from his wife Payal Khanna. The reason for the rift in this five years old marriage is said to be Rani Mukherjee. It is being said that he is in love with Rani and soon after the divorce proceedings will be over, he will get engaged to her. However sources close to Rani have denied the reports alleging Adi-Rani love affair. "Rani is not dating Aditya Chopra. If Adi is filing for divorce, it's his problem, not Rani's. Rani is Adi's friend. They are working together in many projects. Rani is not a home-breaker. There is a lot of jealousy in this industry, and people are trying to malign her. It's easy to write such stories because Rani is single and not dating anyone," says the friend.

The Chopras and the Mukherjees share a very good rapport and now owing to this reports they are very upset. Rani is also very close to Yashji and his family. Till the divorce proceedings are over Yash Chopra has asked Adi to stay in a hotel and they are not in talking terms. The Chopras are very fond of Payal and they are supporting her this time. Payal is being paid a hefty amount as alimony. There have been rumours about their divorce doing the rounds since a year now and they have decided to separate now. Rumours about his and Rani's affair have been buzzing since then. They've shared close proximity while working in films like 'Veer-Zaara', 'Bunty Aur Babli' and 'Hum Tum'. Adi is also very keen about her career and advises her on choosing the projects.

Thanks! I don't believe Rani is the cause of the breakup, she is constantly being called a homewrecker, but she isn't one! The media is just making her a target because of her closeness with the Chopras

ya ur absolutely right....media is usually 90% responsible for such rumors that cauz rift between ppl...and i really dont think rani would b the reason for sum1z home to break...she can really find sum1 way better than Adi.. i just hope these r all baseless rumors

yea true that rani wont be the reason to the break up of aditya's. i mean are aditya nd her even really good friends? i dont know yaar. but i no that itz not true at all.
