What I loved about the slap was that it was a pure "punjabi haath". Pradeep actually jumped when that solid slap landed. He must've been shaken to his bones. I'm sure the reason he's asking for divorce is that agar Mona ka ek-aadh haath aur padh gaya to bechara Anushka ke saath romance kya paani peene ke layak bhi nahi bachega.
