So the Shurpankha shows her fangs and I wish there was someone who would have cut off her horrible nose ...Revji has been such a good father...he doesnt question ...his daughter's decision...years back he had questioned it..and she had proven him wrong..and on that day he had said that he will forever trust her..and he has till date...Gosh I love the consistency of characters in this one..they need not show us the flashbacks and all to remind us why Revji did what he did, his characterization justifies it all..and the convo between Kesar and Revji... I just love how Revji respects Kesar..inspite of seeing him as the Golu boy who used to be afraid of dark and who used to tag along Gulaal...and also after the scene he created outside his house after Gulaal left MB's house😆...
And then Kesar...oh,,,his biggest fear was not being around her...and .I just love love how he is ready to let her go! At that point of time, he doesnot even consider himself, he so knows that without her there could be no HIM...yet for her honour, for her happiness he is ready to let her go! but the moment he sees that her happiness lies here...he assures Revji that he would protect her no matter what !
When Revji bhai had asked Gulaal 'What is in this house that would make her stay anymore?'
And did you see the Camera zoomed in on Kesar's face ...all expectant look spread on his face as if willing Gulaal to say 'Kesar!' ...*sigh* I so waited with baited breath but that never fructified
'And he works on that na...both of them are so big on promises...Gulaal lived this life for so many years because of a promise she made to Vasant ..that 'tathaastu' she said...actually had sealed her own fate!
And Kesar ...he also is living his promises ...the one he made to Poonamba! the one he made to himself and now the one he made to Revjibhai!
Of protecting her honour!
And boy! does he do it in style!
I just love how the first thing, the first thought in the morning for Kesar is Gulaal and the moment he sees her hesitation of going to the kitchen! He is up and ready to fulfill his promise even without bothering with brushing his teeth😆
Amazingly the woman in the kitchen were actually at odds with each other but the moment Kesar Gulaal step in and Kesar declares Gulaal's presence over there...they unite and gang up against her😡
I just love how bratty he is ..when he says we will take a lot of time and keep all of them hungry😆...and ofcourse how he takes her hand and make her sit was one such endearing gesture...and Gulaal suddenly out of her zombie state for one brief moment when Kesar is about to burn himself!!
But Kesar is Kesar! you could see the lightening up of his face a bit when Gulaal said I want to do pooja in OUR room! I guess before that he wanted to pounce and launch on her rights of going to the pooja room and that he will not have anybody stop her! but the moment she said 'Our room!' the bacha is all happy shappy 1!!
And that dialouge of 'Pura faayda utha le! jab take mein tera pati hoon! Why do I get that feeling that he is trying to shake her and tell her that 'LOOK AT ME!!! I AM YOUR HUSBAND! I AM THE REASON WHY YOU STAYED IN THIS HOUSE! I AM THE REASON WHY YOU ARE STILL LIVING AFTER VASANT LEFT! I AM HERE AND YOU DONT NEED ANYONE.! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO BOTH OF US AFTER 2 MONTHS???
He does try everything to make her smile na...but in the end realizes that he has not been able to protect her in the sense he had promised Revjibhai!
His FB's in the cow shed ..about his promise and Gulaal running untamed in the jungle...so significant na!! She is suffocating and he keeps on seeing the Gulaal who was truly happy once and his promise to Poonamba and Revji individually taht he will keep her happy and he will not let her suffocate...but his Gulaal was being strangled, he could see that and we will see the fruits of this cowshed affect tomorrow😆
