Somehow, the way the asha-abhishek track was framed ... I didnt like it and it left a sour taste in my mouth... and as far as the social aim of promoting widow remarriage, I dont think that this track design helps in anyway. Infact, it makes it look more indecent.

1. what does asha really know about abhishek? zero. For all she knows, he could be another Jagya with a wife already in the city. There was no closeness shown in terms of finding out about one another or anything.

2. how do they plan to live together? In Jayetsar?... or will they move out of jayetsar?

3. do abhishek's parents have no say in the matter at all? does he just do things unilaterally? How does he expect asha to relate to the rest of his family if he gets married in this way, that too to a child widow?

4. why was shyam so excited about the prospect of asha running away in the middle of the night?

My two cents exactly.It seems like BV wants to show that widows are desperate to get hitched to anyone !!!! Even the so called SENSIBLE anandi seems to agree that DR Abhshek is a good jodi for asha-just because he likes her is it necessary to blindly trust him? Or is it a coy laid by BV writers that beware widows danger lurks everywhere!!!

A lof going on between these two...the only thing i did not like was the way she ran away from home etc...it reflects her poor mentaltity ,,low thinking..more childish..

What I really dislike about this track is the complete change in Asha's personality, from a widow who spent all her time going to the temple and praying, now she's ready to elope with the first man who approaches her. If someone went through the traumatic experiences that Asha went through, I would expect them to withdraw further into their shell and be suspicious of every man.

jub madan singh ko apne gusse par control nahi hai woh yeh bhool gaye ki yeh wohi doctor jisne varun ke pair ilaaj kiya usi ko laathi dande se pitwana shuru kar diya aur aasha ko kamre mein band kar diya .to kya yeh sahi hai aasha aur abhishek aisi halat mein kya karte .koi baat agar tumhe agar buri lagti hai to uska virodh karne ka bhi tareeka hota hai yeh nahi ki laathi danda maarna shuru kar do.

abhishek ki daactari ka aur abhishek ki aasha ke saath prem prakaran chalane ke beech mein koi rishta nahin hai.

abhishek ne varun ka pair theek kiya toh iska yeh matlab nahin nikalta ki abhishek asha ko khet mein bula ke romance kare. usne varun ka pair theek kiya toh woh apni jagah pe.

aakhir madan singh asha ke liye responsibility rakhte hain. kal ko asha kahin pregnant ho gayi toh ek aur mushkil khadi ho jaayegi madan singh ke liye. ek kaand to sadhu baba ke saath waise bhi ho gaya hai.

2. doosri baat, aap yeh likh rahi hai ki "to kya yeh sahi hai asha aur abhishek aisi halat mein kya karte?"

Mujhe toh lagta hai ki aisi haalat nahi paida ho, unko dhyan rakhna chahiye tha.

Aur agar aise halaat paida ho gaye, toh unko shanti se madan singh se baat cheeth ke zariye nibtana chahiye tha. Kam se kam shyam bhaiji ke liye in dono ko wait karna chahiye tha.

Agar madan singh kashi bhejne waale they asha ko, toh bhej dete. Abhishek usey wahan se le aata baad main.

My issue is not with the storyline per se, if this were just a purely fictional program for entertainment.

However, since balika vadhu has positioned itself as a "social upliftment" serial, I think this track really deserves scrutiny for the shabbiness that it has displayed as a road map and asha as a role model for other widows/their families. It is also amazing as to how anandi, shyam and suguna display the least concern for abhishek's family background yet encourage her to run away at the first opportunity.

The track could have been very tastefully done with tensions shown between abhishek and his family and how he wins them over to the idea of asha. Then tastefully, they could have shown madan singh and his family being won over too with some good arguments. Asha too could have left madan singh's home with his blessing and with dignity as a bride, and had a small wedding with friends and family surrounding her, with her head held high, instead of running away in the middle of the night like a cheap waif. I think this aspect was downright ridiculous and indecent.

The whole thing could have been done wonderfully to support widow remarriage in such a way that those with similar situations watching it in real life would really be influenced to start thinking about remarrying young widows in their families.

Instead, What will happen after this track? It will just reinforce more caution towards young widows and fuel more fears of their running away -- so they will just be kept under tight check even more.

They handled this storyline with too much hast. They should have shown a more mature storyline, with them not meeting in khets n all that.

Should've concentrated on his background, family...their future..they should have made it a happy marriage. Maybe opposition at first, but not "bhaag ke shaadi".. 🤢
