Hmmm, that's a tough one.
The show was so memorable, so different from the others, it will be tough to top it's already 'hat ke' story line. I realize of late it has gone down hill, but I believe that to be because of the original decision to end it, and the the 6 month extension.
So, I realize most want a happy ending. But to make it as memorable as meaningful the show has been, I would have to suggest a not-so-happy ending ... eek, sorry :)
I'm thinking Devyani gets a reality check - she needs one. She is optimistic, as she needed to be given her situation. But she is TOOO quick to sacrifice her happiness for others, and in doing so she ends up hurting herself and those who care the most for her. So ... I'm thinking something as drastic as her being killed by Brahma, who then goes to jail for it, for life (I agree that he shouldn't die), and Devyani is remembered forever, for what she did, and went through.
Uttara and Vidya to join an NGO, or open a orphanage, or an institute that supports and assists single/divorced/widowed women in gaining the required independence to help themselves. And to name it after Devyani.
Love stories, and stories in general, are remembered for their characters, for the beautiful story lines. But they're only classified as epic when it's a sad ending. Unfortunate as that maybe, it's true. I dunno how everyone else feels, but this show was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever seen. It was the most unique show, and the folks who came up with the concept, hte ideas, the dialogues did a wonderful job of keeping it that way (minus the last 6 months). The actors were great, Brahmanand being one of the best if not the best. That said, the only way I can think of topping such a great creation, is to leave it at such an end that makes it epic ... sad, but realistic.
Devyani is a tender heart - she needs to realize she is too trusting. She needs to .. in a way ... fall for that mistake. Let it be her to fall, and in doing so protect the others. That was the whole purpose of her life - protect those she loved. Let Uttara try to save her, and in doing so improve her relationship with Adi.
Two things I'd really really like to see -
Gaurav back, even if it is just for the last episode.
The old Uttara back - the smile, the mischief.
Okay, that's my sad story line - I'm sure it won't happen. I'm sure we'll all see a happy ending, so no worries ... it's a win win situation for me :).
