I was wrong about Mandira. I had stated that she is more Inder and less Indira at the begining of the trial.
But I am really impressed by her courage, all the more because she has been a weak character and does not have a strong ethical backbone like Indira.
Today I bow to her courage.
She could have taken the easy route and hidden her mistakes. Although she did not tell Indira about her first night with Sam, when it came out, she did not hide the truth and told it all, warts and all, including her idea of trapping Rishi. She could have created immense trouble for Rishi by implying that he had been flirting with her, but she did not. she told plain, unvarnished truth. I will forgive her for not fessing up to her blackmail of Sameer.
I was also amazed by her contrition. For the first time we saw how much she relied upon her didi's strength, and how much she respected her.
Most of all, in the courtroom, she could have accepted proposal for marriage. Her previous immature self probably would have accepted the proposal. But the new Mandira did not. Absolutely love her for that.
Gargi has done a very good job portraying a traumatized woman. Would like to give an applause to her👏
