I will not say about the comedy circus in the episode today but few things about the later part of the episode when Aarti comes to know firsthand who really Yash is…
Though the comedy circus they showed was totally out of the character for Yash but Gurmeet did an excellent job for this performance and my hats off to him for this fabulous work.
Disasters upon Disaster were created and Yash kept on falling in Aarti's eyes notch by notch... He was even compel to pose like a statue so that Aarti would not see the package of condom.. but his luck ran out on him all the time as the thing he wanted to hide from Aarti was exposed and Aarti felt disgust upon disgust at the series of those disasters...
Basically Gurmeet is a shy person and the way he had to the scene with lingerie and condom packet was the funniest concept in itself but those are the scenes to be watched for the fabulous performance by Gurmeet and Kritika... And those killer songs add more humor for the audience and more embarrassment for Yash. Finally Yash just resigns on his hard luck and just smiles stupidly holding the packet in his hand…
There was just that flicker of an intense moment during the petal showers where they show Gurmeet's face in profile… I absolutely loved that clip… that was really captured well in the camera.. Were his golden brown eyes were looking at Aarti…
And then comes the knock at the door… Yash was saved by the bell… he signals Aarti that he needs to open the door and almost runs to the door. His little brother was standing with a suggestive smirk thinking his brother would be happy with his thoughtfulness… now at this point I really want to ask if he really know his brother at all?? Does he really think that his brother Yash who is still pining for his deceased wife and knows that in what circumstances he is getting married would be ok with this kind of pranks?
My question here is…. Does anyone at all understand the depth of the pain and agony Yash feels for his tremendous loss and the cruel joke life played on him by taking Arpita away… Does anyone really know the depth of love Yash still harbors in his heart for his dead wife… Does anyone at all know that the memory and pain has entwined in his heart for his beloved wife and he does not want to get rid of it…. Does anyone ever know how much it tears him apart when someone says that name casually?? Does anyone ever know that he does not want to part with that memory as it has been embossed in his heart and in his mind… No I do not think if anybody has any idea of the depth of emotion Yash goes through as he hides it well…
So this brother of his plays a prank with him as done in the normal wedding forgetting the purpose of the wedding…
So he stands like an idiot grinning from ear to ear and asks if he liked all the arrangements… Yash gives him a hard stare and invites him inside the room as he did not want to wake up whole household with his anger.. Pratik steps in still not thinking about how mad Yash is..
Yash asks him if he made all those arrangements and left those things in the room and he confesses with a grin and ask if everything was alrihgt??
So Yash stops his grin by a thunderous voice and tells him showing the lingerie and a packet that this is not what the wedding is all about.. He tells his brother that at least he should know why he did this remarriage and that was for him as he has taken an oath not to marry before his marriage. And to save him from the lonely life he had to agree for this marriage…
And then Yash tells that he cannot think about the name of another woman to be associated with him other than Arpita and he cannot love any woman other than Arpita for many lives to come.. He said his plea to God always is that in every life he get his beloved Arpita as his wife…. And then he says that he did not marry to get him a wife but a mother for his daughters. He continues saying that he would have raised them by himself but they will need a touch of mother in their lives and that is why he has remarried. He looks at Aarti and tells her that he does not expect anything from her except to be a good mother to his daughters.. His painful pleas brings tears to her eyes…. Her soft heart as if is ready to take away all his pain…
The longing and love for his deceased wife was so much evident in his trembling voice and the sheen of tears in his eyes that it brings tears in Aarti's eyes too… The revelation from Yash for the marriage was so big for Aarti that she feels small in her own eyes for misunderstanding Yash.. Hearing the love in his voice for his daughters touches the mother in her and as if she determines that she will do everything in her power to be a good mother to these motherless daughters of Yash
Then the lights are on in the room and her gaze falls on the loving memory of Yash's personal shrine for his beloved wife… Her gaze travels from picture to picture and she feels overwhelmed by the love and pain Yash is feeling for his deceased wife…. She looks at the shrine and understands that her fear and her attitude toward Yash were totally baseless and wrong… Her admiration for her husband rises above everything and she now understands what her mom saw in Yash and why she kept on telling her that Yash is a good man..
Then she witnesses his behavior with his brother… Though he was insanely mad at his brother to play a prank like that but it did not take him a minute to forgive his brother and take him in his arms and ask his forgiveness for scolding him on his wedding day..
Yes Pratik has a special bond with him and he does not mind that his brother was mad at him. As an older brother it was his right to scold him for his mistake. He even asks forgiveness form his new SIL calling him Gundi Bhabhi which brings tiny smile to Aarti's face..
At last Mrs Aarti Yash Schndhia now knows what a gem of a husband Yash is and she has to agree with her MIL Shobha that he is a decent man….. Oh man I had so much wanted to hear those words from Aarti…
And also realization hit Aarti that she was misjudging him and she needs to ask forgiveness from him… After Pratik left Yash had stepped in to his shrine and was looking at Arpita's pictures with tears in his eyes.. Aarti softly comes behind him to tap on his shoulder to draw his attention but wind moves those chimes and Aarti looks back at those chimes and as if something hits her….
So let's see tomorrow what Aarti remembers…
Episode was excellent… The humor portion of the episode was though not in a par with Yash's character but Gurmeet Chaudhary carried that scene with flair of a super fine actor and my hats off to him. Kritika was awesome with the degree of displeasure showed on her face…. Altogether the selection of songs and the comedy sequence brought the peel of laughter naturally…
The emotional scene was executed beautifully by Gurmeet and the transition from comedy to emotional scene was executed perfectly by the all the actors…. One of the best episode considering all the elements in the episode were very well done…
