What Rashi wants

I wonder what is it that Rashi wants and not getting and hence insecure.

The way her character is shown from beginning she always wants to live a luxurious life with no work and everybody under her thumb. and that too without any effort..

Is this wish right to say and quote about with for being insecure because she is not getting it.

Whatever kalakaris Urmi tells is all about deceiving people and grabbing money.

is that her valid reason to be insecure?

She says Gopi got everything, that everything that Gopi got, Rashi also has it, then why Rashi is cribbing about it.

It depends on the perception of things.. Rashi is not able to point exactly to why she is insecure because she is not ready to accept the fact that she is wrong. Her insecurity stems from the fact that in the event anyone, I mean anyone in MB comes to know what she has been doing till date, she will not have a place in the family.

A sense of belonging develops only if you want to feel belonged. Rashi still refers to her sasural as Modi's. It does not occur to her that she is also a Modi herself. That is why she takes pleasure when the Modi's are ridiculed and is insecure when she finds all the Modi's happily living together.

Her heightened sense of self importance and her laziness add to that insecurity as she finds herself in the receiving end with the hardworking Modi's... She does not understand their goodness and hence feels an outsider. Hence the insecurity.

Elementary my dear aarti. Rashi has not made herself a hissa of the modi pariwaar. Not with her husband. And not with her in-laws. Almost two years later and she could just as well be someone who walked in from the street. And if she goes tomorrow no-one will miss her.

but all that thing of non belonging is because of urmi, she always teaches Rashi wrong ways to achieve something.

and that too very much because she herself wants money. whenever they fight due to some kalakari failing or money lost, she would put the blame on rashi without caring for her at all..

but rashi never seems to understans even that.

and why jigar got married to rashi, everyone knows, now what is she so insecure of..

all the other kalakaris only urmi knows. she should be insecure of urmi that she can blabber anytime not of modis, who have given her chances after chances..

@Bold.. I do not agree.. A sense of non belonging cannot be taught. Rashi is not a child. She can choose not to listen to Urmi.. If she was sensible, she should have decided to keep telling Urmi that she prefers to gain her place in MD after she was forgiven. But no.. Rashi chose to call Urmi because she was impatient and she wanted what she considered was her place in MB.. You do not aspire for something unless you can actually work properly for it.. She is lazy and wanted an easy way out..
So blaming Urmi for Rashi's mistakes is a real no no.. If Rashi feels insecure, it is because of her own thoughts than anything else😊

The only thing she did not get is modis elder bahu title... She got disappointed because kokila didn't choose her for aham... So she has to end up with jigar instead of aham.

The main problem with Rashi is that she always WANTS what she CAN'T have! I agree with Harini that u cannot blame Urmi for this! Rashi has two ears to listen, she can choose to listen to what she wants and what she doesn't want to. She has a brain, she should use it to better herself instead of ruining other people's lives for her own joy!

I agree with all of you...she is very self centered. The whole fact that Koki didn't choose her and chose Gopi is still with this UrShi. And that is why Rashi thinks Gopi has everything. In her mind she had to settle and Gopi got the top award...Ok so Ahem is not an object, but seriously, he is a trophy of all muscles and more muscles 😍...sorry got side tracked...

Basically Gopi has the title of older Bahu, she has always won everyones heart...in Rashi's mind without trying...gopi has always had Kokila by her side and being the elder Bahu she gets to do the first Puja and first everything in the house...

What it all basically boils down to is that Rashi is a extremely jealous woman who feel she was cheated in life and she wants to make everyone pay for her misfortune...And everyone being especially Gopi.

Rashi does not need to listen to her mother that is true...on that same note her mother should make Rashi realize how fortunate she is instead Urmi fills her ears with only negativity and that is all Rashi sees as well...her misfortune and how she was cheated in life.
