And so wanna apologize for taking over 2 weeks to post this part, but i was buried under study work with assignments and presentations..
and here is the 5th part!
Khushi turned around eagerly to see who Arnav had compared with her, and saw the hippopotamus and Khushi felt her mouth hang open in indignation while Zaina giggled looking at her and the hippo turn by turn with acute curiosity much to Arnav's amusement!
Arnav: Khushi u look even more like one of them with ur mouth open so widely so a fly can enter!
And that cured Khushi of the temporary shock and she let go of Zaina's hand and started hitting Arnav lightly and he laughed harder and ran while Khushi followed trying to catch him while Zaina tagged at Khushi's heels.
Khushi: how dare u Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada! I'll show u who is the hippopotamus! Wait till I get u!
Two minutes into this Arnav realizing he was tiring Khushi as she shouldn't be running in this condition, quickly got behind her twisted her around and pulled her to his side and at the same time closed Zaina's eyes with one hand and gave Khushi a deep kiss on her lips. Khushi who was already breathless from all the running around felt herself hyperventilate as Arnav continued to kiss her thoroughly all the while keeping a hand on Zaina's eyes. As Arnav felt Zaina pulling at his hand Arnav quickly broke away from Khushi and gave her a cute smile for which she glowered back at him, still annoyed that he compared her to the hippo of all animals!
Zaina who had no clue about what happened, was now looking at Khushi and Arnav who was facing each other with Khushi having her hands at her hips,
Khushi: Arnav what r u doing! This is a public place! And we have a 4 year old with us!
Arnav: aahh'didn't seem to bother u earlier..
And he winked when Khushi continued,
Khushi: that is not the point!
Arnav: so the point is?
He continued annoying her further..
The two of the would have continued their bickering to no ends had it not been to a small tug at Khushi's side, and she turned her attention to see Zaina looking up at her and hesitatingly raise her small finger up
Khushi smiled down at her and,
Arnav: Oh god u girls never change (he said looking at Khushi and winking meaning it was for her)
Khushi: just cz men never use toilets and pollute the environment it is not our fault! Let's go Zaina
Khushi took Zaina's hand and walked away and just at the doorway she turned back and,
Khushi: don't u think it is over! U r going to apologize to me today Mr. Raizada for calling me a hippopotamus!
Inside the washroom
Zaina felt Arnav was really irritated by her and said the earlier stuff to Khushi,
Zaina: Khushi aunty Arnav uncle is angry with me, hai na?
Khushi: aww no sweety he is not. He likes u a lot. Eventhough he doesn't show it much and talk a lot. So don't worry ok, and soon he'll get along with u very well.
And Khushi scooped her up and kissed her to pacify her thinking of asking Arnav to behave properly cz she knew that he really loved kids and did all his antics just to annoy her.
Both walk out of the washroom and returned in about 5 minutes and Arnav who was leaning against a tree waiting for them,: Hogaya ya kuch aur bhi baki hai?
Khushi: we are done..
Arnav took Khushi's hand and tugged her on, and actually towards the hippopotamus enclosure and that reminded Khushi of her earlier gripe with him!
And Khushi carefully kept Zaina on her feet and turned towards her husband to continue from where they left off earlier!
Khushi: ah now where were we? U really think I look like that?
Khushi asked pointing at the enclosure, and she continued poking a finger on his chest,
Khushi: and if I look like that whose fault is it?
And Arnav cheekily replied: yours?
Khushi: what?, not believing he was still not telling sorry to her!
Arnav, purposely ignoring Khushi's annoyed scowl, : u know Khushi when people eat too many Jalebis these things happen!
Khushi her mouth open in shock at his accusation instead of apologizing: it is ur fault! Not my jalebis! It is ur son that is making me'
And they continued bickering as usual.
Meanwhile Zaina who had seen a curious little bird who had multicoloured wings left where Arnav and Kushi were standing and started walking towards it. Neither Khushi nor Arnav saw that she was slowly following the little bird towards the wild animal section which was slowly becoming deserted.
Arnav finally seeing Khushi getting really worked up, and her face scrunching up as tears seemed to fill her eyes, groaned to himself telling 'oh god pregnancy hormones, not again!' and quickly decided enough was enough decided to stop teasing her
And he quickly took her in his arms and made her look at his face and held her chin with his finger
Arnav: Khushi that was a joke sweety, u don't look like a hippopotamus, and even if u did u'd be the most beautiful hippopotamus ever
And Khushi who had begun to have a wobbly smile smacked him again making Arnav to promptly apologize to her,
Arnav held his ears, : aww sorry baba, u don't look like that! U r my beautiful Khushi! Please please don't cry ok, it is not good for u or the baby.
And finally Khushi smiled happily as he gathered her up in a hug.
The zoo was slowly emptying as the closing time was approaching and as the last person left the wild animal section the watchman who missed seeing the little girl entering, closed the gate and locked it.
Zaina who was lost in the thoughts of the beautiful bird, never observed her surroundings and didn't realize that she had walked off quite a distance or that no one was around her. The pretty bird soon flew atop a large tree and disappeared from her view. And with a happy smile she turned back, satisfied with her job of observing the pretty bird and then only realized that Arnav and Khushi was not in sight, and nor was anyone else and she panicked. And soon she heard the sounds of the wild animals and as she heard the loud roar of the lions she started shaking cz she was anyway so scared of the wild animals which she had only seen on Discovery channel before now. And she saw that it was getting a bit dark too and suddenly something touched her shoulder and she turned to look at it and screamed at what she saw and immediately fainted.
And finally Khushi pulled away from Arnav and looked around instinctively searching for Zaina
Khushi: Zaina, Zaina!!
Khushi thought she was around there somewhere near the small bushes beyond them and was playing so she quickly walked towards the hedges with Arnav and when they reached there, Zaina was missing.
Khushi :Zaina, Zaina, kaha ho tum. Come back beta. We have to go now. Zaina. ZAINA!!!
Khushi called her loudly again and again as they started searching all the small paths going from there, running from one place to the other and still there was no trace of Zaina.
Khushi quickly turned back from the path she was in and ran towards Arnav, and by the time she reached him there was tears in her eyes as she realized the full impact of what has happened.
Khushi: Arnav, Zaina is missing, we have lost her. Oh god how could we be so irresponsible and careless,
And Khushi was weeping holding on to Arnav.
Khushi: Arnav do something, anything I will never forgive myself if something happened to her, Please Arnav do something pls
Arnav whose fear was also mounting by the second quickly got a grip of himself and, Arnav: Khushi calm down first, she is here, somewhere'probably very near to us, may be in the bird aviary. Let's go there and search for her.
Khushi: Arnav' she whispered and Arnav quickly pulled her to him and took hold of her arms and looked straight in her eyes,
Arnav: Khushi nothing will happen to her, I won't let anything happen to our little girl, I promise
And Khushi nodded between small sobs, and the two of the quickly started walking towards the aviary.
And when they couldn't find Zaina in the aviary, Arnav quickly informed the zoo guards and they quickly accompanied Arnav and Khushi in their search.
Arnav tried leaving Khushi at the guard desk as she was exhausted, but Khushi refused everything he said telling she won't have a moment's peace until she has Zaina safely in her arms and Arnav finally gave in and all of them started searching for her.
The zoo was closed down as it was 5.30 and still they couldn't find Zaina.
Khushi was having all kinds of bad thoughts in her head and couldn't stop crying and blaming herself for being so irresponsible.
By this time Arnav was very much worried and began to panic at the thought of something actually going wrong and something really happening to Zaina. And his helplessness only grew as he watched Khushi breaking down every passing second with despair.
They came to the spot where they last saw Zaina and started the search once again at that point along with the zoo guards.
Precap: well I'll just let ur imagination flow!
Anyway just one more part to go. I'm gonna finish with the next part(hopefully!:p)
