The audio launch of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Naan Ee, directed by top Tollywood filmmaker S S Rajamouli (of Magadheera fame) was definitely a buzzy affair. The film, music for which is composed by veteran Maragadhamani, revolves around a thwarted lover, who gets reincarnated as a housefly and takes revenge on the man who killed him.
The event saw a host of K-Town who's who descending at the venue to wish the team success. While Suriya and Karthi, along with directors Bala and Lingusamy, released the audio, the other attendees included actor Parthepan, producers T Siva and Dhananjayan, lyricist Madhan Karky, directors Jayendra and Samuthirakani, and Crazy Mohan, who has written the dialogues for the Tamil version. The film's heroine Samantha provided some much-needed glam to the event. A couple of notable absentees included Kannada actor Sudeep, the film's antoganist, and comedian Santhanam.
Going by the slick trailer and making of featurettes, which were screened before the launch, the film promises to be a commercial entertainer.
