Maryada - To Go Off Air?

Saw this on TC.
We know Maryada has got an extension and now there is less than four months, could it end sooner?

Our sources have also added that Pratigya might be the next show to go off air on Star Plus. There is also speculation that Maryada too will soon breathe its last. However, its producer Tony Singh said that Maryada has got an extension.

frankly fizi I am surprised pratigya is still on air

re maryada as it is only a six month extension I hope they do not bring that forward - the show needs to end gracefully for all those loyal viewers out there

If the CVs go the right way without dragging any storlines then it could be a very interesting four months. I hope they dont drag the family finding out about Brahma for too long otherwise it will get boring. It'll be interesting to see him in his villainous role once he comes out.

Here is a new article from TC!

Wow, wow, wow'now this is turning out to be someday for us. Minutes back we filed a story on Sasural Genda Phool going off air on the third week of April. We also wrote that other two shows on the same channel, Star Plus, namely Maryada andPratigya are also under the scanner.

And just now our sources have informed us that Maryada will also air for the last time on 13 April 2012. Yes, this DJ's A Creative Unit's show, which created ripples with his bold and mature plot dealing with gay relationship, is all set to wrap up.

Ridhi Dogra, who plays the role of Priya Pradhan in the show, confirmed the development and said, "The production house has informed us officially stating that the show is going off air on 13 April 2012."

Kamya Punjabi, who plays Uttara, also went on to reiterate.

So, the road ends for Maryada on 13 April. But we must say that it has been a great journey!!!

Among the 3, I will miss SGP most.

Pratigya has lost it long back.

Maryada people did not use the extension judiciously. They are going for unnecessary rounds like that 100 croes and the file etc.
