Superstar Rajinikanth has created history by singing a song in Hindi for the very first time.š„³š„³ The South Indian actor, who originally recorded the Tamil song for his daughter Soundarya's film Kochadaiyaan, will be singing with none other than music composer AR Rahman.ššš
"Rajini and Rahman came together to render Rahman's composition.š In Hindi. Rajniji had earlier sung the theme song for the Tamil version of Kochadaiyaan. But that was a completely different song. You must understand that the Hindi version of Kochadaiyaan is totally independent of its Tamil version. And so are the songs," Kochadaiyaan producer Dr Murli Manohar told Mumbai Mirror.
The song has been written by Irshaad Kaamil of Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar fame. The song has a complicated imagery of life and mortality with several difficult Urdu words, probably the reason why Rajini was initially a little skeptical about pulling it off, reported the tabloid.
The superstar last sang a song almost two decades ago, when he was heard singing Adikuthu Kuluru in his voice for the Tamil film Mannan. Well, the megastar's Bollywood fans will definitely be overjoyed with this piece of news.
