Sandy.. Well made post👏 And superb example⭐️

Listening to your mom does not make you a momma's boy. Aham has been brought up by his mom and his character is basically like hers. He is also strict, shy, gets angry quickly but is fair and just.

Till Gopi came, there was nothing really he had to oppose her on except about his marriage to Gopi. That was the only time he did not take a stand against his mother. Maybe he knew himself that Anitha was not right for his family?
But he has been supporting the right person after he started realizing who Gopi is really.. Actually even before realizing that.. Aham is a passionate person and he sides the right from his PoV.

Just because he is silent and is not a happy bunny does not make him a Mom's boy or that matter now a Joru ka gulaam. He analyses situations and takes a fair decision of whom to support.
When Gopi said they had to help Jigar and Rashi, he understood the truth behind those words and decided to help but when Kokila punished him for the same, he again understood her PoV and took that punishment as due..
That makes him adorable. How many people put on other's shoes to see their PoV? Aham is more than just "Yes Mom" " Ji Mom"... He is a good son and a husband and a smart one at that who knows how to handles his relations.
I wonder if people even see the episodes to see the way his character is developed before even commenting this way.😕

@Rupal...

You are absolutely right.. The word became a stigma..
But when your mother is fair and just, how can the stigma be attached to the son because the mom does not fall into the category of mother's that the stigma is attached to..
Aham is indeed lucky to have Koki and Gopi in his life but another point is, he also deserves them for he works to make both of them happy. He is one of the few who has the art of making both happy and maintaining the balance in their relationship.. It does however help that his mom considers his wife as her daughter😉

👏Well said Harini. And it is a balance for the MIL and the DIL to create a relationship where there is no competition needed to gain the attention of the son/husband. Kokila and Gopi have that balance. Koki knows when to speak and when to be quite...and Gopi knows Ahem loves Koki and she is alright with it. A DIL should know that there is a difference between a sons love for his mom and his love for his wife. And that is where Gopi shines. She allows the love with Koki/Ahem to shine as well. She does not demand it to be broken in order to glorify her love. And also Koki sees Ahem is taking care of his wife and she has proclaimed of how happy she is with it. If the MIL's and the DIL's would take that same approach, girls would never be hesitant to go to sasural or think of it as an evil place

Love all the posts in this thread. Just because a son loves and shows respect to his mother does not make them a mothers boy. Ahem shows that a person can love and respect their mothers and their wives at the same time whilst knowing right from wrong. Ahem is a fair person who supports both his wife and mother.

Aww Thank you😳
I love SNS and the characters are indeed very unique and well characterized. It is true that sometimes people just do not see the serial but comment without understanding what the character is all about, especially Ahamji.. 😊
BTW, please call me Harini😃
