It is because of Sumitra's challenge Jagya lived happily with Gauri for a few days. She didn't bitch at him for stupid reasons for a couple of days and hence, there were any fights. I personally thought that Gauri was not going to say anything after comming to Jetsar because she was being fake with Jagat. I thought she was actually going to watch Jagya and Anandi get married without saying anything to anybody infront of Jagya but her insecurities couldn't take it anymore and her true personality came out. Even though she thought she was winning Jagya back by being fake infront of him, she didn't realize that she was turning into another Anandi to make Jagya happy. That just proves that even she knows that Anandi is a better wife then her.
