Ankita turns designer!

Ankita Lokhande who plays the role of Archana in Zee TV's primetime soap Pavitra Rishta has gotten so tired of her look on the show that the actress has decided to turn costume designer for her character. Apparently she wanted some different from the 'monotonous' saris that the show's designer had been giving her to wear. So one fine day, Ankita turned up on the sets with around forty designer saris from Neeta Lulla and Archana Koccher.

As if getting hands on with her costumes wasn't enough, Ankita has also restyled her character's look by changing her hairstyle and makeup as well. She was overheard claiming that the new clothes and lively colours make her feel energetic! Guess she needed some oomph post Sushant's exit. But nevertheless we like her hands on attitude!

Thanks for sharing.. I love her in any style though would prefer simple look which she gave in early days of PR... She looks good always 😳

If she feels good and energetic wearing a desinger saree and different hairstyle its fine as storyline in the last few months is really bad and may be this change in look gives her strength to perform well...😃

The best line I liked in this interview for me "dinnertime saga that won viewers over with its simple and realistic portrayal of life in middle class Mumbai. " 😳
