Its really wacky -but even now after watching a GHSP epi - can't help the bubbling curosity to watch the next one in the series -especially if the epi is one like this!!

I can't help as I start appreciating the details even more which were hidden in the epis at the time these epis used to air & yet my eyes missed them as I was too spoilt of watching what I loved so much ,but now having spent so long a time without this luxury -my observations are latching on more & more nitty -gritties...

My fave lines:-

Geet- Switch on nahi ho sakta hai sir,iski battery low hai 😲

Maan - Phone ke saath saath tumhari dimag ki battery bhi low hai kya ?? Charge kyun nahi kiya??😡

Geet- Yeh to Pinky ka phone hai - aur isne charge nahi kiya 🥱

Maan - Jao jaake apna dimaag ermm apna phone charge karke aao (Rofl at GC's expressions)😆😆😆

It was so funny that the guy whose conduct,decisions were immovable as a stone -could show a spectrum of sentiments even if it was an oscillation b/w anger,perplexment,exasperation to wonderment...

And gotta hand it to DD - there could be no such female protagonist who could swift b/w innocence , thoughtful to mirthful to chaotic situations 😳

Another fave moment - when Geet had that knowing ,amused smile as she said - "To Mr Perfect itne bhi perfect nahi hai ..." & Maan almost,but almost was lost...

And to the climax of it all - the shout out to the culprit-cum-cupid watchman (after all he switched radio with "Hum-Tum") - it was hilarious -

Geet-- "Oye Ram lal,shyam lal, kake"

Maan- "Tumhe sare guard ke naam pata hain"

Geet-" Nahi bas tukka laga rahi hoon-in naam me se koi to thik hoga -hain na?? Haan"

Geet- "Oye mohan lal -koi to bolo, oye jaagte raho ... koi bol hi nahi raha -ullu de pathe,khote AAAhhh " 😆😆😆

This epi is FULL of moments that make me guffaw & laugh out loud ...

But gotta say- KR as NT was suave to perfection - all those sneers at Dev being Maan's "chaprasi" & thinking of "that girl, Geet" -while Dev tried to chicken out by hiding about seeing Geet -it was funny in a sadistic way to see Dev being cornered...

Moi lubed the Daadi as well -I think Suhasini Mulay was her name she had short -but fab stint in the role before Anju M ...

Actually every body had a part to play -thats not what you always find in every soap & certainly not in such an aesthetically presented manner -Kudos to Hrisikesh G & Barry who was a riot at penning down such lines!!

Ah finally got the chance to watch the epsiode and do my take. 😃

Since I am late and everyone has pretty much said everything I would about it being a completely hysterical episode, I want to concentrate on something specific in my take today and that is the dualities in Maan's character and his speeches. As I have always said, these paradoxes are what make Maan's character for me and what made me fall hook, line and sinker for GC who portrayed them so well.

When Maan tells Geet how pretty she is...not. 😆
I love how here we can see that hilarious wry, sarcastic side of Maan when he tells Geet not to flatter herself, thinking that she is some sort of angel. But contradictory to his words we see him grabbing the chance (quite literally) to touch her by insisting on knowing what was behind her back. Was it really that important Maan? Or were you just waiting for a chance to get real close and have a moment of contact? And then when he tells her she isn't that pretty I love how intensely he looks at her as though appraising in detail how beautiful she is...not. 😉

Maan is here strictly for business 🤓
Here it is so interesting because he goes into the conference room and spreads out the blueprint as though ready to get down to work. If he was so professional in this context, what would have mattered most is Geet getting the work done, her feelings about him notwithstanding. But he is absolutely exasperated that she is scared of him; that feeling unsettles him and he is unable to focus on the professional task at hand until he pokes and prods Geet into confessing her fears and proving then wrong. But Geet is not one to back down and is out to prove to him that she is not in fact scared. This is exactly what dadi wanted for Maan! In many ways it is Maan not being able to let go of the Geet being afraid of him thing that got them locked in together.

Baba MSK does not like getting prvachans from others!
I love when Geet starts her lecture about what zindagi has taught her and Maan's expression says, "Sorry, WHAT?" 🤣 What really got me about this was the fact that this sounded exactly like something Maan would say to Geet in a time of crisis. She was just trying to return the favour and Maan was so aggravated. I think he doesn't like being on the receiving end of such sage counsel.

Finally, as long as Geet was uncomforable, Maan was in his element. He could maintain all the snarky comments, the sarcasm and the coldness but once she proved that she was not uncomfortable and the more comfortable she got with him, the more it unsettled Maan. This was a characteristic I loved of their relationship through out the show. Maan was always the cocky, playful teasing member of their relationship and innocent Geet the victim, but on the occasion that Geet took charge and faced Maan head on at his own game, it was the confident Khurana that was left dumbfounded. Here we see Geet in all her trust and innocence completely drops all awkwardness once the initial clarification is over. She has no problems going close to Maan and it feels natural and normal to her. But Geet's comfort and loss of inhibition serves to heighten Maan's awareness and caution around her. Every touch and every moment of proximity weighs on his mind intensely when contrarily he is able to grab Geet's wrist with no problem when she is the vulnerable one.

I love this metal and emotional push and pull between these two characters. It was this that made their relationship unique and so very complete.

Hey all.. 😊😊 Apologies for being inconsistent..real life,work and all taking a toll..😕

Anyways..agree with everyone..these epi were really laughter riots..😊 each and every dialogue was a sixer..bouncer..etc..etc..be it Maan's or Geet's..😆

Hats off to Barry yaar..after a long long time on TV.. had really fun-filled epi..back to back..where the dialogues genuinely made u laugh..😊

Even GC- DD were at their best..the comic-timing was superb..😊

One thing.. bcoz I have watched the earlier epi..DD looks quite relaxed in these scenes...as compared to the previous HP epi..the nervous.. frightened..Geet..no doubt the scenario def has changed but u can make out.. see is enacting her scene with ease or almost effortlessly ..😊

No comments on GC..he is amazing..as always..😊

Regarding the epi..

it was fun to see MSK..he was getting irked more by the fact that Geet was seeing him as a Apavitra soul.. God..that hurt him haan Geet !!! 😆

Rest nothing much to add..everyone has said it all.. 😊but I have 1 question..abt this??

How in the world.. this 2 inch piece of cloth..waistcoat..is supposed to provide warmth to almost freezing Geet???😕 If it was his shirt..I wld have understood...😕

Either I have failed to notice /understand..the thermodynamics..the physics..chemistry logic behind this..or that Geet's non-stop talks and this bizzare situation got to Maan's mind..and he has really lost it??? 😆😆

Btw..I read the WU.. the person has ACTUALLY counted the number of eye-locks..(Maaneet Moments...) its something 1500 th..oh..wow..😲 Someone in this thread did say the same thing right..I guess the wish is fulfilled..😆

Next epi... Hum Tum...😃 Enjoy guys...😊

Written Update (prettyfulwishes)

Dev is in the office looking for Maan.
Maan is in the conference room complaining. He starts his rant and tells Geet to fire all these people.
Geet does so, and then Maan realises she was taking it seriously.
Geet tells him off, and tries to open the door. ManEet moment.
Dev stands outside the door where ManEet are, and hears noises. While they're trying to open the door, Dev thinks something else is going on. (LOL. I loved this moment).
Geet hears him walk off and lets Maan know. Maan realises its Dev and tries to tell him to open the door.
Dev refuses (thinking something else entriely. Although ManEet fans shouldn't be upset - it means more moments, right?) and walks off.
Geet lets Maan know Dev's gone, and Maan can't believe it.
Maan decides to do some work, but Geet is upset at what Dev thinks of her. Maan tells her to stop worrying.
Geet doesn't, and Maan grabs her hand, and drags her back to the table.
Geet tells him to let go of her hand, but he says he won't. (ManEet fans, please tell me you haven't fainted. The show isn't halfway through!)
He finally lets go, and they start work. He walks to the lightbox and looks at the designs
ManEet moment when both crouch to pick up a pen.
Both disagree on the designs. Geet tries to explain, and gets cold.
Maan takes off his vest and gives it to her.
Outside, Dev notices the taxi that dropped Geet home, and says he'll find out by tomorrow if she's really here.
ManEet continue arguing, and Geet tells him to do what he wants, she'll do what she wants.
Maan pulls the book out of her hand, and she falls onto him. ManEet moment...
She gets up, and her dupatta's stuck on his tie. ManEet moment...
They finally decide to sit on opposite ends and work.. with secret glances at each other of course.
Back at the Khurana mansion, Dev wonders why he can't stop thinking of Geet.
Naintara enters and asks him if he gave the phone. Dev complains she asks too many questions.
Naintara tells him that because he gambled away all their money, they had to pay a big price. This is why she asks 1000 questions.
Back at the office, Geet tries to get Maan's attention. She finally does so, and tells him she's done.
She complains she's cold, and Maan gets angry at her - she's not wearing the vest, and she's complaining.
He starts pacing, and Geet suddenly remembers her Darji and how he used to do that - pace up and down and getting angry.
She starts remembering her family, and walks to the window, lost in thought.
Maan comes near her, and tells her that for the first time she's said something about her family - does she miss them?
Geet tells him that she doesn't have anything to do with them anymore. In front of him, she's only Geet.
Maan asks about Gurwinder, and Geet tells him that he was her friend's husband.
Maan then asks why her family wanted to kill her.. The episode ends on Geet's face.

Precap: "Hum tum ek kamre mein band ho.."

These Hum Tum episodes were really treat to watch so many times without getting bored of them 😳😳...Loved the way Maaneet kept bickering over such funny issues and then all of a sudden both used to get lost into each other's eyes thus giving us some of the beautifull Mahii moments 😳😳

My favourite moments from the episode r MSK asking Geet to fire almost everyone from the job and when he sees Geet listing down all names ,he asks her sarcastically to put her name on top of the list 😆😆 ,then the next scene will b Dev assuming from outside that Maan is hving fun with his secretary and Geet telling Maan what is he thinking on which Maan telling Geet even I m not able to think what is he thinking 😆😆 ,then the hilarious moment was MSK asking Geet did a snake smell u and Geet was like your brother is gone 😆😆 ..Gosh such simple but highly entertaining scenes with some amazing natural expressions from GC and DD 👏👏👏

I wonder whether that vest of MSK would hv really helped Geet in getting rid of the cold 😕😲😆😆 ;Even though I enjoyed MSK pulling off that vest in such style 😳 but it was funny how MSK asked her to wear that tiny vest so that she dont feel cold 😆😆😆 ;Poor Geet all throughout ,kept feeling cold and getting all sort of filmy thoughts regarding both in one room 😛😆😆...

High point of the episode was the contrast shown in the end when all of a sudden MSK's walk reminds Geet of her Darji and she feels nostalgia 😭😭 ; Loved the way the transition was shown from funny romantic moments to a touching emotional scene where MSK asks Geet about her family and she gets all emotional 😭😭 ;I was happy that the whole Gurvinder confusion was cleared in this scene since MSK till now was thinking that Gurivnder was Geet's boyfriend but now he knows Geet was single and ready to mingle 😉😆😛...Episode ended with the classic Maaneet dupatta moment which was as usual OMGG 😳😳😳...

Coming to Dev-NT scenes ,these used to b fillers but they were equally entertaining the way Dev was going through the guilt trip trying to search for Geet and then NT used to blast him daily saying he is usless 😆😆...

Cant wait for the main Hum-Tum episode now 😳😳
