why cant they hire one maid??

Is toasty mad and or all other people blind????cant they hire on to two maids -is bahu meaning-jhadu katka khaana bartan only!!! plzzz...toasty become intelligent hire some extra help & supervise them-atleast get washing machine/dish washer-house of losers!!

I never quite understood that...why does bahu mean you have to find fulfillment in doing house work? What is wrong with finding intellectual stimulation outside the home? The way things are done on the show are entertaining but completely not realistic in a urban setting such as Mumbai!

That is a million dollar question from day 1.. The answer is: if they have maid, SBS will have no story line (well, does it have one now anyway?).. Most of the stories evolve aorund ghar ka kam, jharu pochha.. so they can not afford a maid for the sake of the story line..

Initially, when nani ma was to come to C-house, seeing that she had a maid working for her in the village and assuming she will be an endearing character, I had guessed that nani ma will suggest hiring a maid for C-house too but unfortunately the story now is quite the opposite 😔
