In between last year June I came across a news that Vivek has left CID, then after that he came back to CID because I heard that there was heavy representations from fans to bring him back...I don't know whether it is true or false...did he really quit in btw?? Can anyone tell the complete story...

He entered in 2006 in the 'Killer eyes' episode. He vanished for a few days after the episode 'Raaz Khooni ke khoon ka'. He returned in the Independence day special episode.
