Purvi is getting ready in her room and Vandu is helping her. Purvi's eyes fall on bangles Arjun gifted her. She holds them in her hands remember how Arjun had put them in her hands and how Vinay asked her weight of bangle. Vaishali brings Purvi out of her thoughts mode who wears the bangles.
Arjun is sitting in his room working when his driver comes to give him an invitation card. Arjun gives the driver off asking him to enjoy with his family. He opens the card to find Vinay and Purvi's engagement invitation gets disturbed. He closes the invitation with the envelope keeps it on table and remembers how he told Purvi he will not be able to attend the function and she asked him she would feel nice if he comes. Archana calls Arjun invites him for the engagement. Arjun initially refuses but later agrees to come.
On one side Arjun is getting ready looking at himself in mirror and on other hand Purvi is getting ready sitting in front of mirror. Both seem to be lost while Dil Kyun Yeh Mera plays.
Arjun comes to function and sees Purvi. Vinay looks disturbed as he sees Arjun seeing at Purvi. Before Purvi can walk over to Arjun he stops her in between saying he needs to talk. Aniket asks Vinay-Purvi to pose for picture which they do and Arjun sees this gets sad. As Purvi walks her anklet falls down. Arjun goes to return it to her who thanks him. Arjun adds she looks pretty and Purvi smiles. Vinay comes in there and Purvi tells Arjun came to return her anklet that fell on floor.
Archana stood for her daughter Purvi. She told Vinay and his family she would not give Purvi's hand in a house where her daughter is considered as a money making machine. She refused to give in their demands and breaks engagement from her side.
Arjun was sitting in his room busy in his work when the driver walked in with the invitation. As soon as he opened the envelope he realized it's invitation to engagement ceremony. His face dropped. He felt uneasy and immediately kept the card on table. He remembered how he told Purvi he will not be able to make it to her engagement and she asked him to come as she would feel nice. It's not that he didn't wanted to be part of Purvi's happiness but his heart felt heavy.
From the time Arjun entered the function till he spotted Purvi to watching Vinay with Purvi he was sad there was a strange feeling a war that was happening inside him but he sadly he is not able to understand what it was. Arjun witnessed the entire drama unfolding at the function. He was angry and probably got more angry when Archana asked Vinay if he would marry Purvi if she leaves her job wants to be housewife and Vinay remained silent. A girl you claim to love want to marry when asked if you would support her stand by her side marry her knowing she wants to quit job become housewife you stand there silent.
A tinch of jealously could be seen when on Vinay's face when he saw Arjun looking at Purvi and immediately rushed by her side when Arjun was talking to Purvi returning her anklet. Punni as usual had her eyes set on Arjun talking nicely, introducing him to her parents. It won't be surprising if Vinay tries to take revenge for whatever humiliation he and his family had to go through. With engagement being called off how does Arjun, Purvi, Archana and Vinay when they come face to face at work needs to be seen. It will be interesting to see Arjun and Purvi's interaction after whatever happened.
