Part 7
Takur's family hurried him to hospital.Takur was also in the same hospital were karan was struggling for his life.Abha,Lata,Prakash,ChandraPrabha all were following the stretcher which wheeled takur to the ICU.They were atthe other side of the ICU and the prasads were at the opposite side and they didn't see each other.doctors soon attended him and they gave the necessary injections and medicines.The doctor came out and said"khabrane ki koi baath nahi hai..he's out of danger.aap logone unhe sahi samay pe yehan laaya.it was a mild attack and i have written for certain medicines .he can go home tomorrow if he wants.make sure you don't give any stress to him in future... bas is ka dhyan rakhiye..."
suddenly a nurse ran to them and called the doctor"Dr.jaldi chaliye..us patient ka haalath bigad rehe hai..he is sinking..."
"Oh no..." Doctor rushed with the nurse.
Prakash had gone to get the medicines and abha and latha were with ChandraPrabha.After sometime Chandra prabha said that she was feeling dizzy and that she needed some water.abha went to get water.
Outside karan's room all were waiting and they were praying to save karan.Inside the doctors were trying hard to save him.He was not at all responding to the treatment now and doctors were sure they won't be able to save him.they shook their heads and vimal saw it and he broke down on the floor.
Abha was slowly walking through the corridor with a bottle of water in her hand.she was having flashes of what had happened at SB today and she was really upset.she thought why has karan not turned up for the marriage.how can he do it?when abha came near ChandraPrabha a nurse was comming.chandraprabha didn't notice abha and she asked the nurse "us patient ki haalath ab kaisi hai? kaun hai woh aur use kya hua tha?"
The nurse replied"Karan Prasad, Jagmohan prasad ki beta hai woh. accident hua tha.aaj teen din hua hai abhi tak hosh nahi aaya hai bahut serious hai ..uska bachna mushkil hai..."ChandraPrabha and lata were shocked to hear this.The bottle falled from abha's hands and she felt as if the ground is being moved from under her feet and she stood there numb.latha and CP came near her then abha said"hume karan ke paas jaana chahiye maa.."and she ran to where karan was laid.No one noticed abha standing behind them.tears were running down her cheeks and she was praying for him.
When she looked the doctors were trying to revive him.suddenly the instruments that read heart beat ,Bp etc went flat there was no display.the doctor asked to give the shock to revive him but of no use.after sometime they covered karan with the cloth and came out of ICU and said"We are sorry...though we tried our best we couldn't save him"
The entire takur family stood numb to hear this and abha too was there standing shocked.In the next second abha cried"KARANNN..."
A nurse called "Dr.jaldi aayiye...yeh saas le rehe hai...".when they looked karan was trying hard to breathe they soon gave him the injection and oxygen .They checked the readings.and all were showing normal.They looked puzzled.
The doctors came outand said "Mr. Prasad aaj wakai mein karishma hua hai...it is a miracle otherwise how can a person who was on life support for these days and who has not responded to our treatment,whom we thought to be dead a few minutes ago ,breathe on his own without any life support and everything be normal.he is completely out of danger and will recover soon.who is this lady who called him by his name?her call has brought him back to life. though he has not gained consciousness his subconscious mind responded to her call and he woke up and it saved him"
"Dr.she is abha... karan's friend".shaili hugged abha and cried.she said"abha you don't know what you have returned to us.we don't know how we will thank you.you are lucky for karan.i told you vimal na ...abha ab tum karan ko chood kar kahi mat jaana"
vimal said"shailiyeh tum kya keh rehi ho? abha ki shaadi ho gayi hai.."
"Nahi vimal bhaiyya" and abha explained what happend at the wedding and also told that she was not informed about karan earlier and that takur was admitted there.
shaili said"don't worry abha shayad bhagwan ki yahi marzi hoga.."
after sometime vimal veer and jagmohan went to meet takur and they told what happened and how abha was lucky for karan.they all were happy and thanked god that karan and takur are allright now.
(what will happen to abha and karan now? will they marry?will takur allow them? to be continued...)
