And today perhaps is one of the the most peaceful Gulaal episodes...the bonding epis.. the real Kesar Gulaal... the best of playmates...the brat and his mentor, the lonely soul and her sunshine..
I mean who else would have silenced a rising-to-anger Kesar...everybody else would have scurried for cover... with just a signal and who would have fought with Gulaal for the menu...Everybody would have just fallen in line with her...and together..they are making everyone else run for cover...poor Chef...the guy was almost threw the towel and held his hands up in surrender...and tomorrow we will see the decorator hanging in the air because of them...What catastrophe they are😆
Back to today's episode, from the starting they took up a theme na? and this one will stay till the episode when he wipes the tear of her sleeping face, lamenting that his anger had actually destroyed her...
the bickering that they had over menu (am totally ignoring that flureoscent baloon that was sitting beside Sudhi the bin budhi)...and the laugh...that is one of the best memories we have of the two brats..and it is such a rare scene...two in their own world inspite of the whole world surrounding them...
And JK's spot on dialogue
Nobody knows what goes on in their minds...it is only when the whole dish will be prepared that we will come to know...
And the scene inside the room...
I am actually copy pasting what I wrote in KRML months ago...Gosh I was going so gaga over them then na??
And the moment, Gulaal denies...you can see the change in Kesar's expression,,,he remembers her attempts to avoid him and you can see his anger rising and he says nothing to her...but puts himself between JK and Gulaal..as if to protect Gulaal from JK's more taunts...and the way he says... I will go alone...
Dont know that sentence made me sad...
you know, we are not shown Kesar's lone moments these days...unlike before, where we used to see his pain and angst at Gulaal and her secret...
But these days we are not being given a glimpse, so me just wondering if he does fear that ultimate moment...the moment when he WOULD have to let her go...(ofcourse we trust the CVs wont dot that...but he is not supposed to know about the CV business na😛😆)
He must be crying in the nights...oww..lonely bacha that he is
So, that 'alone' rankled a bit...feeling his pain, his fear, his sadness hidden behind his laugh and smiles...
And the way he leaves, giving her a glance..that team spirit dwindled and vanished...
And so she has to follow him na...I just wondered at the knock..the last time she did knock was immediately after the DV break meet failure...when he was crying inside...after that she had just walked in like it was her room...
But perhaps the shariff bacha did lock it while changing...and LOL he was buttoning himself right in front of the mirror, but STILL messes them 😆
She reigns so supreme in his mind na...one NO and he goes all hopeless and useless..can't even button himself up😆
And she comes in with HIS entry music..Wham!! did not understand this BG😆
And the way he puts the hanky in his pocket and says that he is leaving...reminded me of my dad saying tata to my Ma everyday while going to his office😳 stuffing hanky in his pocket and just confirming whether she needs to say or give something to him😛

And Gulaal asks him " Is this the way he is planning to go?' and he gets all conscious...bechara..impression ki watt lag gai biwi ke saamne...
And she drags him to the mirror..and perhaps for the first time he doesnot get conscious of her touch...after he returned and realized his feelings for her...
and you can see he is still angry to a certain extent the way he opens his buttons and realizes that one of them is broken...
and GulluRani I tell you is all mollycoddling...she could have told him na that he could wear another shirt...or for a change wear ONE shirt instead of two in the scorching heat of Talsagara...
But na! na! wifey dearest wants to stitch the button,..
And I just discovered the reason Gulaal wears mismatched jewellery with her Chunars or the same Chunars time and again...
Because she is COLOURBLIND😛
What ?? didn't you see ??
She is stitching a button on brown shirt with a purple thread😕😆 or was the brown shirt having purple buttons😛

Anyways!! I just love how she starts off the conversation in a total nonchalant mode, almost as if they were in the midst of a conversation...
As if she knew he was angry on her, upset with her, and the reason behind the anger too...
She knows that his fumbling and messing the button holes is the reflection of his anger...so she tells him to calm down and understand WHY she did what she did...and before going further, she tells him that she DOESNOT have any problems in going with HIM...
That was the bugging point na...and once that doubt is cleared... he slowly, trying to control his emotions from spilling out as if, asks her that what is the problem, why can't she come with him??
It is THEN he actually LOOKs towards her..till then he was avoiding her eyes...
Loved how he asked...did someone say something to her😳
As if once that possibility is out that HE was not the reason for her not coming..and his company was not a problem for her...he is out and out ready to do anything that encumbered her fulfilling her wish to come with him...
Owww...the moment she takes one step towards him, he would actually run the rest of the steps towards her...
Can I have him, plz😛
And I loved how Gulaal goes about the subject..
And ofcourse Kesar becomes angry..and he still is in 'Free Gulaal from chains' mode na...Again he is like, rolling up his sleeves...and saying... you come with me and I will see who talks about you😆
How can she let people reign her mind, people who dont matter to her...
But Gulaal actually doesnot...she has never done that...
Her Deeyarvatu itself is a trademark that she has never bothered with the society and its people...She is one radical woman...
Unconventional she is, and so she calmly takes Kesar to the mirror to make him look at his face in anger...and I loved how NB maintained that expression..because the shot was different ...the angle differed...
And then she mildly breaks his anger into small pieces by reminding him of what had happened last time...how he lost his control whenever someone said something about her...
And the way she remembers how Kesar could not sleep after the incident near the mandir...I loved this touch...how we thought she was completely oblivious to his pain, but she does know and remember what Kesar had gone through at that point of time..
Accha waise...when did she start calling Yogesh, Yogeshbha😕
Anyways,
And she nails it when she says ...
SHE DOESNOT CARE OF WHAT PEOPLE SAY OR DO, IT IS HIS DOING THAT MATTERS TO HER!
And that is like the fatal punch...brings Kesar to his knees na...
He takes one look at her face and breaks down,,,,his anger vanishing into nothingness and
and he admits his weakness...What to do!! If somebody talks about her he...(now who liked that sss)😆
And then she gives the age old example of the fully filled pot and half filled pot and Kesar...is so zapped...the guy is so emotional...his heart comes into his eyes when he looks at her...
Like a child just getting a glimpse of his tooth fairy...
as if so overwhelmed by this woman, thinking that what would have been his life without her...You know, the gratitude of her being in his life actually overflows from his eyes...*sigh* and *double sigh*😳
And the lady in red is ishmart na...there was a time when she knew if she will say the word 'Leave' Kesar would go mad and bring the moon and the stars for her for not leaving him...
And now she has got a new word which makes Kesuda do the impossible ...
Her happiness...and he does say so!
And such a cliched dialogue na...
'Mein teri Khushi ke liye kucch bhi kar sakta hoon'!
But still that is Kesar!!
so the dialogues gets a new meaning, perspective, feeling!!
He actually puts his action before his words!
And the last scene!!
Owww! I just cant describe it...I love the guitar play..the male singer's 'Asmaani' voice...and Gulaal's smile...What to say!!
The bacha is chooo chweet na...
Reminded me of the scene where he is refusing to go to school and she says that I will leave and he says the same thing ..'I will do whatever you say, Gulaal...but don't leave me!' albeit as I said...now the words ' Gulaal will leave' have been replaced by ' For Gulaal's happiness'!
And as I said...Gulaal's smile beats a thousand watts bulb, any day!!
So luminous is it...and there is this happiness of doing something good...of achieving something...
That is the element of Gulaal na...She gets happiness out of this..and you can see that on her face..and from hers...you can see that on his...
