Hi friends…I have realised that for parents their world revolves around their children. Recently when Anshu went missing, the entire family was anxious and I realised what must have been going through kaka, kaki's mind. |
When Anshu was missing, I went to ma-papa's home and Gayatri ma asked me to leave Naksh at home. I was very apprehensive as it was the first time and I felt really bad leaving him and going. I felt guilty and even when I was at my house, I could not stop thinking of Naksh. As parents we get so attached to our children and they become our lifeline. When Anshu was missing, kaka- kaki were so afraid for their child as they too love him dearly.
When Naksh began crying and Gayatri ma called me, I got extremely anxious and just rushed back home. I held Naksh in my arms as I felt that he was away from me for so long even though it had only been two hours. I just want to spend my time seeing him sleep, playing and growing, I don't want to miss any moments of his life
Elders often feel that children's behaviour is dependent on their upbringing. They feel we act according to the values instilled in us as kids. No doubt it is important to provide good values, but each child reacts differently. Even children growing up in the same household have different personalities and hence respond in their own manner. Like Shaurya dada and me or Naitik and Rashmi belong to the same family but we as individuals have varied reactions. Hence it is not only dependant on the upbringing but several other factors.
As parents, Naitik and I hope that we fulfil all our responsibilities towards Naksh. We will definitely instil the values that our parents have passed on to us and do our best in his upbringing.
