yeah with Brazil leaving home so early from the WC, there were no other serious challengers to Klose.....but i think a few others did come close..

and it is a good thing that Podonski won for the young palyer award and not Ronaldo...his theatrical diving antics were simply toooo much!!.

Messi would have been a far more serious contender if only the coach had used him to play on the field rather than just warm the benches!!

I think Zidane just got lost in the heat of the moment and did what he did..it was completely stupid and outrageous..though i wonder what Mazzeratzi told him that he got soooo provoked!!

no not really. here in the UAE the college education system is still in its infant stages...and there is a long way tooo go for the system to come of age here.

Though there are some Indian institutions, they are not many in number and quite a number havent yet got the recognition from the Ministry of Education here. There are just 2 colleges offering the B.Pharm degree here...and the one I am doing from has a mostly Arab management but there are a number of Indians too. But the student population is also mostly Arab but there are Indians and Pakistanis too...it is a diffferent experience for me.

ya, i know..Zidane is such a cool head n to lose his temper and direct a head-butt on Materazzi's chest is something which u don't expect from the legend.Materazzi wud've blurted out something very nasty which wud've provoked Zidane. Otherwise i don't think he wud've wanted to end his career in such disgrace.

Actually i didn't care for both the teams as my all time favourites Germany were out of contention.. 😭

but i did thoroughly enjoy the third place play-offs! 😃

Surely he would have something really nasty......I was just wondering yesterday what if we had something like the red cards and yellow cards in cricket too...what do u think?

oh...cool i bet its an altogether different experience for u to be admist the Arabs.
