well, if there were other heroines besides rani mukherjee
who could carry off the kind of roles she does ; she could
be a game changer
sadly this is not the case. tabu is gone who else is there?
people prefer to see priyanka in a more contemporary role tho
she did great as a maharashtrian in kaminey
no one connected with deepika in aarakshan tho she tried.
kareena tried a chameli and failed miserably
so if there is any role with a slightly desi vibe, the only one
directors think of is vidya/rani. vidya can mix it up and do a
modern girl like a Jessica role but for the GAME to CHANGE you
need a whole brood of other heroines, and right now, threre
are none
