Part 9
Recap~ When Arnav comes close to Khushi, she is frustrated and shouts at him for the same which leaves Arnav thinking if he was wrong about Khushi being innocent. Khushi's family forgives her. She misses Arnav and repents for shouting at him.

"Jijiii!", she shouted standing on top of the table.
"Khushi get down rightaway! See, everyone is staring at you!", Payal shouted back at her.
"Wow!When did you start shouting JIJI??", said Khushi teasingly.
Payal helped her to get down.
"I told you to not to have bhaang KHUSHI!", payal said angrily.
"Jiji, I wanted to get rid of this pain here", Khushi said sadly placing her hand on her heart.
"What pain?", said Payal, who was worried now.
"Jiji, you are so lucky to have a husband like Akash ji. But I..."
"Khushi? What? Is there something wrong between you and Arnav ji?"
Khushi looked up at her.
"Jiji, me and Arnav ji are not...", Khushi stopped in mid-sentence when a finger touched her lips. She looked up to see who it was.
"Khushi, are you still angry with me? Sorry I am late but your surprise is ready. Come with me to my room", Arnav said smiling, his finger still on her lips.
Arnav held her hand and dragged her to his room leaving Payal to wonder what the surprise was all about.

"What the hell were you doing Khushi?", he shouted, after they reached their room. He turned to face her, but Khushi was looking at her hand.
Arnav was still holding her wrist. He left it abruptly and took two steps back. Khushi pouted.
"Why did you leave my hand", she asked, still pouting.
Arnav raised an eyebrow, that's when he realized she was under the influence of bhaang. He slapped his forehead and looked at her who now put forth her hand for him to hold it again.
"Hold It", Khushi said innocently.
Arnav was amused at her antics but when he remembered what she said to him a while ago, he took another step back and looked away.
"Why are you going away from me?", she asked innocently.
Arnav looked at her angrily.
"Whats wrong with you? YOU told me not to come near you. YOU told me not to tou..", he couldn't speak further.
"I didn't mean to hurt you",she said softly.
"I am NOT HURT! You don't even exist for me. You don't affect me me at all! Do you understand KHUSHI!"
"But you do affect me."
"What?", he looked at her confused.
She placed her hand on her chest and closed her eyes.
"What do you mean Khushi?, he asked.
"Do you want to know the meaning of what I said?'
Arnav couldn't find an answer to it. He was totally confused at her behavior. He remembered what she said to him earlier that day , her words hovering around his head.
"I hate it when you come close to me"
She came forward. She stood so close to him now that he could feel her breath on his lips.
"I hate it when you touch me"
She took his hand in hers and placing it on her chest, looked at him.

"Don't you feel it? My heartbeats... they race when you are near me...
My body shivers when you touch me...
I melt when you look into my eyes..." , she whispered.
He still stared at her trying to understand the meaning of what she said just mow. He couldn't believe his senses.
"Khushi...", that was all he could utter.
"You affect me..", she continued.
"Why", he asked staring right into her eyes..
"Because you are my.."
"I am your?"
She gently placed her hand on his cheeks and leaned towards him. Just when her lips were inches away from his, she tilted her head slightly and whispered into his ears.
"Laad Governor"
"WHAT!", he looked at her smiling face now.
And Khushi burst out laughing while Arnav stood there bewildered.
He still stared at her when she walked out of the room laughing aloud with unsteady steps. He wanted to stop her, stop her from going away but couldn't. He was too mesmerized by what she said to him just now.
He gently placed his hand on his cheek where she had touched him, his lips curved into a smile...

So thats it! ...Okay! I know that was not enough...quite short 😛... When I was writing it I was quite positive about it, but when I read it again ...urgg...I wanna bang my head for writing such a silly update! M SO SORRY! I was too excited that my PC was working that I couldn't fight the urge to update just then! Although this update is quite silly... bear wid me pls...
