I don't know if this will be a full fledged FF or a SS it all depends of when that inspiration hits and where this story shall head, for now its a SS -- & Since this is my first ff on Arnav&Khushi, i will only continue if i gain enough readers otherwise i will put a full stop to it right now.
'Right now I'm just sitting on a bridge, gazing down at the water, too scared to jump, but too afraid to stay'
an inward smile started breaking out but bitterness overpowered the momentary relapse and she was once again lost in the turmoil. The one person she had left her family for - step family it might be, had now left her; indeed karma rueful, and she was pitying herself and her words. If only she could take back time, take back the hurls of facade's, the threats, the blackmail and lastly the lost innocence but it was too late. Repentance was usually too late and today the words proved to be true. It didn't matter how much she regretted, or repented, what she had done was unforgivable.
The warm of the cool breeze brushed her cheeks slightly before grazing her slightly pale lips, shivering slightly, she wrapped her arms around her chest trying to ward of the unwanted. But it was all too much, she was alone, scared, and most of all broken from the inside.
She had no where to go and she knew those who had once given her a shelter would now turn their backs on her and she deserved it. She was fool, but he had woven such a web of intricate lies dipped in love, that she hadn't realize when she had crossed the limits for emotions that wore masks of deception, greed and lust. He had used her to his will, and than left her when he had accomplished his goal, her innocence was his prize. If only she had listened to her sister, her mother, anyone apart from that scum she wouldn't have been standing on the loosing end today. But that was yet again another if, life can't be lived on the if's, today is what is and you had to face despite all. So how was she going to face her life? was the question she asked herself, better yet, she didn't want to face life.
She stopped amidst the road and glanced around finally having a sense of realization, of being stranded on a lonesome road in the dark. How perfectly this dark night with no infliction of light at the end reflected her life, she was roaming around with nothing and with no path for direction, she wandered aimlessly into her own woven trap. It was futile to repent for the bygones but she had nothing left other than to repent and be ignorant of the tomorrow she did not have any hopes of seeing.
life was so much easier when she only worried about two things, her MBA and her family when someone else started to become important thats when she had started to loose her sense of direction, willingness and maturity, all was drained in one word she now hated with pure vengeance; Love
an annoying sound far off, brought her out of her thoughts and she angrily turned around ready to strike, she had learned if she wanted to protect herself, she would have to do it herself. She was living among reality, not some fairytale where prince charming would come rescue you from impending danger. Her prince had turned out to the big bad wolf, it was good wake up slap in the face to remind her of what the reality is.
zoning out her inner thoughts, she held up her hand to her eyes shielding herself from the blazing headlights that were blinding her sight, '' what the hell is your problem?'' she screamed out loud, expecting an angry male ego to walk about from the car but she was surprised when a lady in her 20's stepped out of the car. she looked so pretty, her pink sari adorned her slim body so well and her hair were left open for the wind to play with.
The lady started walking towards her but there was a slight limp in her leg that could easily be noted but it didn't take away anything from her beauty.
''are you alright?'' The lady asked humbly.
such sweetness left her stumped in the past two days these were first three words that didn't hint towards any resentment, anger, and disgust. She didn't know what to say, her grief stricken voice became entangled with her sadness and words refused to leave her dried out lips. Her big huge brown eyes filled with water threatening to spill any moment now and her hand gripped her shawl in nervousness. She knew she couldn't hold it much longer.
...In a flick of a second she knew she had fallen, before she actually touched the floor and everything blurred.
