William Shakespeare's play, but this was film starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, I love Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton tamed his Kate, when she was disobedient and spoke not like a gentle bred lady he didn't give her what she wanted and gave her nothing but discomfort and pain, but when she understood her place in his life, took control of the running of the home and spoke well of him he treated her well, there has got to be a lesson for Dhawal in there somewhere. I'm thinking Dhawal needs to rent out a copy of Taming of the Shrew and get some pointers how to control his wife Kinjal.

Shakespeare has a lot to offer modern day programmes. Amazing how some still reference him in their stories.

I love the play itself! I wish Dhawal grew a backbone--too nice is too much of a good thing! 😔

I watched that too!! I have a little thing for Michael York when he was young, but watching that I'm not surprised Liz Taylor kept marrying Richard Burton!

True Nafisa, the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton version is my favourite...Dhawal should take some pointers from the play.

It is great, but I think it's the only way as far as Kinjal is concerned, her husband can't let her run roughshod over him, as she will not settle down and be his wife in the true sense, until he becomes stronger.

Oh great idea Nafs! 👍🏼

And KinWal would be perfect for a replaying of this great play! Dhaval just needs to grow a back-bone first though! 😆
